Abstract

The method for diagnosing the primary neoplasm in the multiple malignancies comprises the assessment of the index of primary multiplicity. The differential diagnosis between the concomitant primary tumors and metastatic ones is performed based on the ascertained ratio between the number of cases of the true primary multiple malignancies and the total number of the patients with additional malignancies. The invention relates to the diagnostic methods and may be used for the differential diagnosis between the primary tumors and metastatic malignancies.
