Abstract
The invention relates to the branch of soldering-welding by exothermic means. Object of the invention is the production of exothermic rod for soldering-welding, which would provide sufficiently rapid heating of the surface of welded metal at minimum power consumption. Stated aim is reached by the fact, that the proposed rod consists of two parts - principal part of increased power, constituting of about 30% of length of rod, and head portion of the smaller power, for production of soldering-welding during set quasi-stationary thermal condition, after rapid warming-up of metal by head part.
