Abstract
The invention relates to the water filtration, in particular - to the pressure filters, which contain the friable filtering material, and it can be used for preliminary purification, purification and final purification of natural waters. A filter for purification of water includes a housing, an upper collecting-distributing device, an intermediate drainage bottom, upper and lower loading-inspection manholes, granular filter bed, communication line conduits and branch pipes for supply of source and washing water and air, discharge of purified and contaminated washing water. In upper collecting-distributing device an overflow deflecting funnel is placed, which is located at the same level with the branch pipe for supply of source water, free end of which is cut off at an angle toward the vertical line and is directed toward the deflecting funnel and to the side of upper manhole.
