Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to pest insects protection of agricultural planting. A method consists in that wood ants of the group Formica rufa, including 6 species of ants, is used against the complex of pests of agricultural planting (garden moth, cabbage root fly and turnip fly, mole crickets, cut worms and other pests). In the proposed method natural ability of ants to predation is used, that is for normal life activity the protein ration of ants must consist of protein which ants take due to eating larvae, eggs and chrysalides of insect pests.
