Abstract
In 30 min after the oral administration of Haloperidol and Amitriptyline in the morning in the setting of preceding two-week oral administration, the rapid tranquilization technique is employed (frequent intramuscular injections of Haloperidol and Amitriptyline, every 1-4 h) until the improvement of the status of the patient with the daily doses from the medium to high followed by the transorbital electrophoresis of 0.5% Haloperidol solution and 1% Amitriptyline solution using two different ocular electrodes with the increment of the current from 2 to 4 mA, the current density from 0.03 to 0.05 mA/cm2. The duration of the procedure increases from 25 to 30 min with the course of the treatment comprising 15 daily procedures.
