Abstract
The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the ophthalmology, and may be used for the resection of the orbital tumors originating in the optic nerve. The technique for the resection of the orbital tumors originating in the optic nerve provides for the shortest access to the tumor, which is less traumatic. The operation is performed under the visual control. The injury of the levator and the oculomotor muscles is prevented. The risk of the infection in the orbital wound from the conjunctival cavity is eliminated. The visible skin postoperative cicatrices are not evident.
