Abstract

A method of subsurface irrigation includes penetrating a hollow telescopic probe into soil for the depth preset, forcing watering liquid under pressure, including also varying pressure, through the inner hollow of the probe into the soil. The hollow probe is penetrated by means of applying the static pressure to watering liquid inside the probe and a pressure wave with a vector of velocity of the particles in the wave, directed along the axis of the probe into the soil. On the inner surface of the front conical end of the probe, by which the probe is penetrated into soil, the vector of velocity of the undulating movement of the liquid is turned by the reflection in perpendicular to the axis of the probe. The watering liquid is forced into surrounding soil by the directed undulating pressure through slot pores. In doing so a part of the energy of the wave, used for directed undulating forcing the liquid into the soil, is turned in perpendicular to the axis of the probe by reflection. The remaining part of the energy of the wave with the main velocity vector of the undulating movement of the liquid makes effect on the front conical end of the probe ensuring the constant penetrating of the probe into the soil. The process of penetrating the probe is continued until the calculated area, on the limiting perimeter of which the watering liquid begins to come out onto the day surface of the soil, is treated with subsoil watering.
