Abstract

The method for rod polymer insulator manufacturing includes realization of an insulating element and an electrically insulating rod, joining them by adhesion agent, which laid on surface of the electrically insulating rod along its length. The electrically insulating rod is placed in a casting press-form. To make the insulating element, an elastomer is placed under pressure in a press-form and treated under high temperature. As elastomer, silicon rubber included active fillers is used. A covering is made of silicon rubber in the form of high-molecular siloxane rubber or vulcanized liquid two-component silicon rubber. One or two metal tips from side of a blind cylindrical hole for glass-fiber rod placing is made with a volumetric swell in the form of rotary body arranged symmetrically relative to longitudinal symmetry axis of tip body and made continuous with the body. Side face of the volumetric swell is made rounded. From one or two ends of covering body, in accordance with quantity of tips made with volumetric swell, a covering is made in the form of a bell mouth of arced form, which located symmetrically as to longitudinal axes of covering body with convexity outside. At the butt-end of covering body it is situated an opening, which has diameter that exceeds inner diameter of covering body. Wall thickness of the bell mouth is made with thickness that is not less wall thickness of covering body. Wall of the bell mouth is made variable thickness along the bell mouth length. Inner surface of covering body bell mouth and outside surface of tip volumetric swell are made conjugate. Junction of outside surfaces of the bell mouth and the covering body are made smooth. Treatment of liquid two-component silicon rubber is realized in a casting press-form.
