Abstract
A technique for applying intestinal-pancreatic anastomosis in resection of pancreas comprises tailoring the intestinal duplicature with its diameter being superior to the diameter of the pancreatic stump. A duplicature is tailored by folding the intestine and its sewing along the mesenteric edge. The intestine is cut by two parallel linear incisions and the ends are sewed together generating the "posterior lip". Into the tailored opening, the pancreatic stump is inserted, and the interrupted sutures are applied between the free edge of intestine and the pancreatic stump.
