Abstract
The proposed method for measuring thermal conductivity of building or heat-insulation material consists in generating two heat fluxes, alternately transmitting the first heat flux through the material sample and the reference sample, transmitting the second heat flux through a homogeneous heat-conducting element, measuring the temperature in the area of the contact of the material sample and the reference sample, measuring temperature at different points along the longitudinal axis of the heat-conducting element, determining the measurement point with the temperature that is close to the temperature in the area of the contact of the material sample and the reference sample, and determining the thermal conductivity of the material by the difference of the aforesaid temperatures and the location of the measurement point.
