A useful model refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry and narcology. It can be used for 2 complex treatment of addiction to volatile organic substances with accompanying emotional and vegetative disorders.
There is a way to correct emotional disorders in experimental animals (rats) through the influence of transcranial anodic micropolarization of the brain (TCAMP) on the limbic-neocortical mechanisms of the brain and the system of positive emotional reinforcement (|(Vorob'eva T.M., Shevereva V.M. Neurophysiological mechanism of 70 zffectov transcranialny micropolarization of the brain in normal and modeled emotional disturbances // Human Physiology. - 1990. - Vol. 16, Mo. 3. - P. 42-49)4. This method allows to restore the functional state of the brain, namely the functional activity of emotional systems, but not the possibility of its application for the treatment of withdrawal stress syndrome caused by the withdrawal of volatile organic substances is shown. The disadvantage of this method is that due to fluctuations in the impedance of the brain, the parameters of 19 current strength changed during TCAMP.
The basis of a useful model is the task of improving the method of suppressing dependence on volatile organic compounds by means of TCAMP with parameters of current strength that are maintained at a constant level, which will ensure the suppression of the urge to inhale volatile organic compounds through the activation of adaptive emociogenic limbic-neocortical and immunological systems.
The essence of a useful model is the application of TKAMP for modeling the inhibition of dependence on volatile organic compounds (inhalation of "Moment" glue), where the current strength parameters are maintained at a constant level, regardless of brain impedance fluctuations.
Transcranial anodic micropolarization of the brain is carried out through paired steel electrodes with a diameter of 2 mm, located on the lateral parts of the frontal bone of the rat skull and fixed with fast-setting dental plastic. The indifferent electrode is placed in the neck muscle. TCAMP is carried out with a current of 20 μA for two minutes. 5 sessions are held.
After the TKAMP sessions, the animals are tested for a tendency to inhale "Moment" glue. At the same time, behavioral reactions, the number of runs of rats from the central compartment of the labyrinth chamber to the extreme compartment saturated with "Moment" glue vapors, latent periods of runs, inhalation time are recorded. Register the electrical activity of
30 structures of the limbic-neocortical system of the brain, the activity of positive emotional zones of the lateral F hypothalamus, determine the state of cellular and humoral immunity.
сThe method is performed as follows. with
The rat is placed in a cage where it is in free behavior. Active (polarizing) and indifferent “Its electrodes are connected by wires to a microammeter located outside the cage. 3o The ammeter is connected to the electrical network and TKAMP is conducted with a stable current of 20 μA for a few seconds. high school
Після сеансів «During the session, rats addicted to "Moment" glue vapors had a decrease in motor activity, a decrease in negative and an increase in positive emotional reactions, and behavioral manifestations of sleep developed. At the end of the session, the microammeter was turned off, the wires were disconnected. Sessions were held daily. After the sessions "
TKAMP of rats was studied according to the above methods. With 50 Thus, the course of TKAMP sessions suppresses the urge to inhale "Moment" glue, modulates the limbic-neocortical mechanisms of the pathological urge to inhale "Moment" through the restoration of functional connections between the structures of the limbic-neocortical system of positive emotional reinforcement, increases functional activity immunocompetent organs and cells.
