Abstract

The invention relates to methods of reagent treatment of return and waste waters returned to the water rotation. A method for corrosion prevention of industrial water supply equipment involves introduction into the return and waste waters of alkali element nitrites and ammonium and phosphates of alkaline metals. Polyphosphate with the PO43- group number not less than three is used as phosphates. At that mentioned nitrites and polyphosphate of alkaline metal are taken in the ratio of 0.25-10:1, respectively, and they are introduced into the treated medium in the quantity of 125-1100 mg/l.
