Мобільна котельна встановлена на транспортному засобі та містить твердопаливний водогрійний котел, внутрішні і зовнішні димоходи, розкладну систему димоходу з примусовою тягою, засоби регуляції тяги, приміщення котельної, зворотний та подавальний трубопроводи, щонайменше один мережевий насос, шафу керування котельнею, систему електропостачання котельної, генератор електроструму, систему захисту від аварійної ситуації. Крім цього, додатково містить трубопроводи первинного теплового контуру, трубопроводи мережевого теплового контуру, пластинчатий теплообмінник, що відділяє первинний контур від мережевого, а також систему автоматичного аварійного термінового гасіння котла за допомогою вуглекислого газу.
