Abstract

A method of removal of nitrogen oxides from waste gas includes passing thereof in the mixture with natural gas through a catalyst, which contains palladium on aluminum oxide, at a temperature of 700-750 °C and then through the second catalyst. For the purpose of reduction of concentration of combustible admixtures, into the cleaned gas prior to introduction of the second catalyst air is added in excess relative to the combustible admixtures and the mixture is held not less than 0.05 s. As the second catalyst the one of the conversion of methane on the base of nickel oxide on the carrier of aluminum oxide is used. The temperature in the area of second catalyst is maintained for 20-40 °C higher than in the area of first catalyst.
