Abstract
The present invention is a data load unit (1), that has the required processing power and interface abilities for harsh military environments, essentially comprising; at least one base board (2),at least one input/output connection board (2.1) located on the base board (2), that hosts the connectors to provide connection to other boards inside unit, and external interfaces, at least one backplane (2.2) located on the base board (2), that hosts electromagnetic interference and lightning protection circuits on it, at least one power board (2.3) that generates and monitors the required power for boards in the unit, at least one CompactFLASH ™ interface (3) that enables connection with CompactFLASH™ cards as storage medium, at least one processor board (4) to provide access to the stored data and files via Ethernet network, at least one interface board (5) that enables the access of processor board (4) to the CompactFLASH™ interface (3) and Ethernet interfaces, at least one J1connector (6) that enables connection for all the interfaces and for the power interface, except the CompactFLASH™ interface (3).
