Abstract
Method for photometric determination of phenanthren in air is based on its adsorption from air on filter, dissolution in acetic acid, treatment with reagent with following measurement of optical density of dyed solution obtained. As reagent one uses solution of murexide in acetic and sulfuric acids. The invention relates to study of air medium with optical means, to determination in air medium of toxic acids, phenanthren, and can be used at industrial enterprises for control of air in working zone.
