Abstract
Method for biophoresis of wound surfaces with vitamin D, dosing plates with copper hemispheres, in which wound defects are treated with dry sterile wipes, adsorbing wound content. Then the wound is treated with sterile wipes with a solution of chlorhexidine. The wound is covered with a sterile cloth and a thin silicone plate with copper hemispheres is placed on top of it downwards. The fat-soluble vitamin D is introduced directly into the cavity of the silicone plate by the tube. After the introduction of vitamin D into the silicone plate, one tube remains connected to the syringe and the other closes with a plug. An electrode (anode) is placed on top of the plate, and a cathode (negative electrode) is placed under the affected area (limb). The force of the current, which acts on the wound defects is from 5 to 80 μA, the current ionizes vitamin D, gives the ions unidirectional movement in the wound for therapeutic purposes.
Description
The useful model belongs to the field of medicine, namely to general surgery, to purulent surgery and can be used in the treatment of wound defects with damage to the skin and underlying tissues.
(1-3).The known method is as follows: for the purpose of biophoresis, two electrodes made of dissimilar metals are applied to the affected limb or part of the body and connected by an electrical conductor, which causes a unidirectional circular movement of electrons and a constant galvanic current with a strength of 5-80 μA and more appears. The current ionizes liquid medicinal substances, gives unidirectional ions movement, which is used for therapeutic purposes (1-3).
The disadvantage of the known method is the inability to control the dosage of the medicinal substance, namely fat-soluble vitamin D directly during the process of biophoresis of the wound surface, and the wound dressing does not provide constant bacteriostatic and antifungal conditions.
The task is solved by using during biophoresis a thin hollow silicone plate with copper hemispheres, the lower side of which is covered with small pores, two tubes are soldered to the plate from opposite sides for supplying and removing the medicinal substance into its cavity.
The method is carried out as follows: wound defects are first treated with dry sterile napkins, maximally adsorbing the wound contents, then the wound is treated with sterile napkins moistened with an aqueous solution of chlorhexidine. After treatment of wound defects, the wound is covered with a sterile napkin and a thin silicone plate with copper hemispheres with pores downwards is placed on top of it. A medical substance, namely a fat-soluble vitamin, is injected directly into the cavity of the silicone plate using a tube
Д. After the introduction of vitamin D into the silicone plate, one tube remains connected to the syringe, and the other is closed with a stopper. An electrode (anode) is placed on top of the plate.
During biophoresis, the anode (positive electrode) is placed over the wound defects, and the cathode (negative electrode) is placed under the affected area (extremity) or on the opposite side of the anode.
The strength of the current acting on wound defects ranges from 5 to 80 μA, the current ionizes fat-soluble vitamin D, gives ions unidirectional movement into the wound for therapeutic purposes. And the copper hemispheres in the silicone plates ensure constant bacteriostatic and antifungal conditions in the wound surfaces.
The use of fat-soluble vitamin D stimulates metabolic and regenerative processes in the wound, reduces the intensity of the inflammatory process in the wound. Conducting galvanization improves the deposition of the therapeutic agent in the adjacent tissue of the wound, improves microcirculation in the tissues and reduces microbial contamination of discharge from the wound, shortens the course of the phases of the wound process, and prevents drying of the wound. The use of copper hemispheres creates constant bacteriostatic and antifungal conditions in the wound surface. Copper is an important element of the human body and is part of more than 50 proteins and enzymes. Copper is a component of blood plasma proteins, promotes growth and development, participates in hematopoiesis, immune reactions, and copper compounds in the form of sulfate act bacteriostatically, antifungally, antitoxically, and increase the general resistance of the body.
The method of conducting biophoresis of wound surfaces using a thin silicone plate with the possibility of dosing the medicinal substance makes it possible to gradually introduce vitamin D, controlling its amount and granularity, and, if necessary, to increase the dose of the drug.
Without stopping the treatment procedure of biophoresis, after the end of vitamin D, you can wash the wound surface with an antiseptic solution by injecting it with a syringe through a tube into the cavity of the silicone plate and releasing it through the opposite tube, having previously removed the cap.
Part of the drug under the action of the galvanic current, through the pores in the lower surface of the silicone plate, will fall directly on the wound surface, and part will leave the cavity of the plate through the outlet tube.
So, the proposed method of biophoresis of wound surfaces with vitamin D, dosing plates with copper hemispheres enables control over its introduction during the wound galvanization procedure, and if necessary, allows to increase the dose of the drug directly during the procedure. The method improves the deposition of antiseptic and vitamin D in wound tissues, improves microcirculation in affected tissues, reduces microbial contamination of secretions from the wound, and copper hemispheres create constant bacteriostatic and antifungal conditions in the wound surface, which allows to shorten the patient's stay in hospital treatment.
