Abstract

The present invention relates to a resealable package (106) for consumer goods. The package (106) has an access opening (114) through which consumer goods can be removed, and an adhesive label (108) covering the access opening of the package and extending beyond the periphery of the access opening of the package. The adhesive label (108) is at least partially releasably affixed to the package by a resealable adhesive provided on the inner surface of the label extending about at least a sealing portion of the package located at the periphery of the access opening (114). At least the sealing portion of the package is provided with a plurality of formations (116), the plurality of formations being adapted to reduce the effective area of the sealing portion. A hinge lid container (100) is also provided that comprises a box (102) having such a resealable package (106), and a lid (104) hinged to the box along a hinge line extending across a rear wall of the container.

Description

The present invention relates to a resealable container for consumer products that includes a resealable adhesive label having a plurality of formations. The present invention also relates to a container that includes this resealable container.

This container is used, in particular, as a container for elongated smoking products, such as cigarettes.

Smoking products, such as cigarettes and cigars, are usually packaged in rigid containers with a hinged lid, which include a box and a lid attached to the box by a hinge line that runs along the rear wall of the container. Usually, such containers with a hinged lid are formed from solid flat cardboard blanks. During use, the container is opened by tilting the lid part along the hinge line to access the plurality of smoking products in the box part.

A plurality of boxed smoking products is typically wrapped in an inner liner made of metallized paper, metal foil, or other flexible sheet material. In order to access the plurality of smoking articles located in the inner liner, the consumer must remove the pre-perforated top portion of the inner liner when first opening the flip-top container.

However, to improve protection against loss or ingress of, for example, air, moisture, flavorings, and flavorings, it is also known to place a plurality of smoking articles in a substantially airtight wrapper suitable for repeated resealing.

For example, EP-A-0 944 539 describes a pack with a hinged lid for smoking products, in which the smoking products are located in a tightly closed shell formed from a layer of barrier material having an access opening made therein. The access opening is covered by a cover layer with a permanently adhesive surface that can bond to a layer of barrier material for repeated tight sealing of the envelope after the opening is first opened. A framework, to which the cover layer can be pressed to provide a good tight seal, is provided in a tightly closed envelope between the smoking products and the layer of barrier material. For the first opening and subsequent openings of the tightly closed shell, a non-adhesive tab is formed near the lower edge of the covering layer.

UMO-A-2008/142540 also describes a flip-top pack for smoking products, in which the smoking products are placed in an inner pack with a draw hole, closed with a cover flap, attached to the inner pack using a non-drying adhesive that can be repeatedly used for tight closure, applied to the inner side of the cover valve. The inner or outer surface of the lower tab of the cover layer is permanently and permanently glued to the inner surface of the lid of the flip-top package, so that opening and closing the lid also opens and closes the cover valve at the same time.

When opening such a container, the consumer may feel resistance, which is a separation force that must be overcome to separate the cover sticker from the surface located below it. When the cover layer or valve is opened and closed many times, the tactile sensation for the consumer during the opening of the cover layer or valve may change due to the failure of the adhesive bond. In addition, the force required to open a covering layer or valve varies depending on the number of openings of this covering layer or valve that have already been performed. Therefore, there is a need for a resealable container for consumer products that has improved opening characteristics, such as a more consistent opening force or an improved tactile feel for the consumer. There is also a need for a resealable container for consumer products that has a controlled opening force.

According to one of the aspects of the present invention, a container for consumer products suitable for repeated tight closure has been created. This resealable container includes a pouch designed to hold consumer products. This pack has an access hole through which consumer products can be removed. This resealable container also includes an adhesive label that covers the access hole formed in the bundle and extends beyond the perimeter of the access hole formed in the bundle. At least a portion of the adhesive label is removably attached to the pack with a reusable sealable adhesive, the adhesive being applied to an inner surface of said label that extends to at least the sealing portion of the pack located around the perimeter of the access opening. At least this closing portion has a plurality of 60 formations arranged in a continuous repeating pattern in rows that are spaced apart. This set of formations is designed to reduce the effective area of the part intended for closure.

The term "effective area", used in this description, means the area of the part intended for closing, which mainly determines the separation force when separating the adhesive sticker from the surface of the pack located below it.

The term "inner surface" as used herein means the surface of a component part of a folded container facing inwardly of the container, for example, toward the consumer products when the container is in the closed position. Similarly, the term "external surface" used in this description means the surface of a component part of the container facing the outside of this container. For example, the inner frame has an outer surface facing the outer body of the container and an inner surface facing the pack of the container. It should be noted that the inner or outer surface does not necessarily correspond to a certain side of the workpiece used to assemble the container. Depending on how the blank is folded around the consumer products, the parts located on one side of the container can be turned either inside or outside of this container.

The presence of a part intended for closing with multiple formations enables control of the separation force. In addition, the presence of a closure portion with a plurality of formations can improve the user's tactile sensation when opening the resealable container. Opening can be improved by reducing the average deviation of the separation force over multiple opening operations. It is known that despite the reduction of the effective sealing area, the properties of this sealing as a barrier against moisture are mostly preserved.

This allows the pack to be opened and closed multiple times to provide access to individual consumer products. The adhesive, which can be used repeatedly for tight closure, preferably provides adhesion sufficient to repeatedly attach the sticker at least as many times as the consumer products are contained in the package. This allows the user to open and tightly close the pack multiple times until the pack is empty.

Acceptable, reusable adhesives for tight sealing are known to those skilled in the art, and a wide variety of adhesives are commercially available from many suppliers. The selection of an acceptable adhesive may depend on the material from which the closure portion of the pack is formed, to which the adhesive label is applied and removed during use.

The adhesive label preferably has a portion of the surface to which the adhesive is not applied, and the size of this surface to which the adhesive is not applied corresponds to the size of the access hole in the pack.

If the lid is in the closed position with an adhesive sticker attached to the pack, this unadhesive surface covers the access hole provided in the pack. This prevents dust or small particles such as tobacco crumb or other consumer product residue that are inside the pack from sticking to the adhesive label. This can happen if the adhesive sticker comes into contact with the consumer products that are inside the package.

An access hole made in the bundle may be defined by one or more weakening line(s) made on that bundle. In this embodiment, one or more weakening line(s) define(s) the access portion of the bundle. By implementing a pack with a defined access portion, this pack can be more securely sealed prior to the first opening of the resealable container. This can increase the shelf life of consumer products placed within a resealable container. In this case, the preferred adhesive label has an additional inner surface area permanently attached to the access portion of the bundle bounded by one or more weakening line(s). In a preferred embodiment, the access portion of the pack is partially separated from the rest of the pack by one or more lines of weakening when the adhesive label is first opened, so that the access portion of the pack remains attached to the rest of the pack during subsequent openings and closings of the pack. adhesive sticker. A reusable sealable adhesive applied to the first portion of the inner surface of the adhesive label may extend substantially around the entire perimeter of the access portion of the pack.

In a preferred embodiment, the adhesive label is permanently attached to the pack at least in a certain area of the resealable pack. In essence, non-linear series can be wavy series or zigzag series. Inherently non-linear waveform series can be essentially regular wave functions, such as a sine wave. The substantially non-linear zigzag series may be substantially regular zigzag wave functions, such as a triangular wave function or a sawtooth wave function.

The formations that make up the set of formations are arranged in a continuous repeating pattern. This facilitates multiple formations using known embossing or intaglio embossing or printing equipment.

Rows of formations can extend parallel to the direction in which the adhesive sticker is separated from the pack. Alternatively, the rows of formations may extend perpendicular to the direction in which the adhesive label is separated from the pack. In another embodiment, a combination of rows extending parallel to the direction of separation of the adhesive sticker and rows extending perpendicular to the direction of separation of the adhesive sticker may be performed.

The adhesive label is separated from the pack in a longitudinal direction, and therefore, where the rows of formations extend parallel to the direction of separation, they extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pack. If the rows of formations extend parallel to the direction of separation, the force required to separate the label from the pack during the separation operation may be essentially constant. This effort can be adjusted, for example, by determining the distance between rows of formations. Thus, the consumer can experience a "zipper effect" that provides improved tactile sensations. A plurality of formations may be provided on substantially the entire front wall of the pack. Making a plurality of formations on substantially the entire front wall of the pack can simplify the manufacture of this pack, because the formations can then be made in a continuous process. Similarly, a plurality of formations can be made on all the walls of the bundle, and therefore the manufacture of such a bundle can be simplified even more.

The formations can reduce the effective area of the occluding portion by at least about 1095, preferably at least about 1595, more preferably at least about 1795. In the embodiment with a relief structure, the effective surface area is essentially reduced to the area of the tops of the structural elements. In this embodiment, shallow "wells" between convex structural elements have little or no effect on the separation force. In certain embodiments, a combination of raised structural elements and recessed structural elements may be desired. In certain embodiments, the entire surface of the pack may be embossed or embossed.

As a result of the controlled prevention of contact between the adhesive label and the closure portion of the pack, the force required to separate the adhesive label from the pack may be reduced, but the seal formed between the adhesive label and the pack is not impaired. Alternatively, reducing the separation force can be achieved by reducing the strength of the adhesive applied to the adhesive sticker. However, it has been found that the adhesive strength decreases with each release operation, and if the adhesive strength of an adhesive label is reduced from the beginning, the adhesive label may not function properly after a certain number of release operations. Therefore, reducing the effective area of the closing part of the pack provides the advantage of being able to maintain a sufficiently high strength of the adhesive while reducing the force required to separate the adhesive sticker from the pack.

The shape of each formation can be round, triangular, rectangular, or it can have any other acceptable polygonal shape. The term "formation form" used in this description means the form of a two-dimensional projection onto the surface of the pack. The formation may have a three-dimensional shape such as a hemisphere, a cone, a pyramid, a truncated cone, a cuboid, a trapezoidal prism, or may have any other acceptable three-dimensional shape.

Formations can be formed by relief or deep embossing of the material of the bundle. Embossing or embossing is preferably performed prior to assembly of the pack, and a plurality of formations may be provided over substantially the entire pack. Alternatively, formations can be printed on the pack. In the case of printed formations, they can be formed using varnish.

The bundle may include an internal frame located inside the bundle and designed to increase the elasticity of the bundle structure to facilitate tight attachment of the adhesive sticker to the bundle.

In a preferred embodiment, the inner frame is an IM-shaped inner frame that includes a front wall and a pair of opposite side walls. The term "O-shaped" as used herein means a shape having three parts, the first part and the third part being mutually parallel and extending in one direction perpendicular to the second part.

According to the preferred option, the front wall of the inner frame is adjacent to the front wall of the pack. Adjacent to the front wall of the pack, the inner frame, which has a large surface area, provides the advantage of increasing the structural strength of the container. The increased structural strength provided by the internal frame ensures a more reliable closing of the adhesive sticker. This provides a particular advantage when performing subsequent close operations when this stack is no longer full.

According to the preferred option, the inner frame has a cutout located on top of the front wall. This cutout, in a preferred embodiment, corresponds to the access opening and is designed to facilitate access to the consumer products located within the pack. The terms "front", "back", "top", "bottom", "side", "top", "bottom" and "side" as used herein refer to the relative position of parts of the containers of the present invention and their constituent parts in a condition where the receptacle is in an upright position with the receptacle cover closed and the hinge line located behind the receptacle. In the description of containers according to the present invention, the mentioned terms are used regardless of the position of the container being described.

The rear wall of the container is the wall on which the hinge line is located.

In a preferred embodiment, a consumer product container is provided that includes a box configured to accommodate a resealable package as described above. This container also includes a cover hinged to said box along a hinge line that extends along the rear wall of the container.

In this preferred embodiment, the adhesive sticker may be permanently attached to the inner surface of the front wall of the lid so that when the lid is opened, the adhesive sticker is detached and opens an access opening. Therefore, when the consumer opens the lid of the container, the adhesive sticker automatically detaches and opens the access hole, and when the consumer closes the lid, the adhesive sticker automatically closes and seals the access hole.

The term "longitudinal" means the direction from the bottom up or vice versa. The term "transverse" means a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.

The term "height" used in this description means the size of the corresponding part of the adhesive sticker measured in the longitudinal direction in the state when this adhesive sticker is attached to the bundle.

The term "width" means the size of the corresponding part of the adhesive sticker, measured in the transverse direction in the state where the adhesive sticker is attached to the bundle.

According to the preferred option, the container has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, which has two wider walls, separated by a certain distance by two narrower walls.

The term "hinge line" means the line about which the cover can be rotated to open the container. The hinge line can be, for example, a fold line, a groove line, or a fold line in the area that forms the back wall of the container.

The container may be made of any acceptable material, including but not limited to cardboard, paper, plastic, metal, or a combination thereof. In a preferred embodiment, the outer casing is made from one or more folded flat cardboard blanks, and the weight of 1 m2 of cardboard is preferably from about 100 g to about 350 g.

According to the preferred option, the bundle is made of metal foil or metallized paper. The bundle can be formed from a material in the form of a multi-layer metallized polyethylene film and a liner material. This liner material can be calendered parchment. For example, the container according to the present invention may have, but is not limited to: - one or two longitudinal rounded or beveled rib(s) on the front wall and/or one or two longitudinal (- i) rounded or beveled rib(s) on the back wall; - one or two transverse rounded or chamfered rib(s) on the front wall and/or one or two transverse rounded or chamfered rib(s) ra) on the back wall; - one longitudinal rounded rib and one longitudinal chamfered rib on the front wall and/or one transverse rounded rib and one transverse chamfered rib on the rear wall; - one or two transverse rounded or chamfered rib(s) on the front wall and one or two longitudinal rounded or chamfered rib(s) ra) on the front wall; - two longitudinal rounded or chamfered ribs on the first side wall or two transverse rounded or chamfered ribs on the second side wall.

If the container has one or more chamfered edge(s), then in a preferred embodiment, the one or more chamfered edge(s) have a width of about 1 mm to about 10 mm, preferably from about 2 mm to about 6 mm. Alternatively, the container may have a double bevel formed by three parallel fluted or run lines that are spaced apart to form two different bevels on the edge of the container.

Alternatively, the container may have a non-rectangular cross-section, for example, a polygonal cross-section, such as triangular or hexagonal, semi-oval or semi-circular.

The containers of the present invention may find specific use as packs for elongated smoking products, such as, for example, cigarettes, cigars or cigarillos. It should be understood that the containers of the present invention can be designed to hold varying amounts of regular size, large size, extra large size, slim or ultra slim cigarettes by appropriate selection of their sizes. Alternatively, other consumer products can be placed in the container.

As a result of the appropriate selection of dimensions, the containers according to the present invention can be designed to accommodate different total quantities of smoking products or to arrange

From smoking products according to different stacking schemes. For example, as a result of the appropriate selection of their dimensions, the containers according to the present invention can be designed to accommodate a total of ten to thirty smoking products.

Smoking products can be arranged according to different schemes depending on the total number of these smoking products. For example, smoking products can be arranged according to the following schemes: a row of five units and a row of six units (scheme 5-6); a row of six units and a row of seven units (scheme 6-7); a row of seven units and a row of eight units (scheme 7-8); the middle row of five units and two outer rows of six units (scheme 6-5-6); the middle row of five units and two outer rows of seven units (scheme 7-5-7); the middle row of six units and two outer rows of five units (scheme 5-6-5); the middle row of six units and two outer rows of seven units (scheme 7-6-7); the middle row of seven units and two outer rows of six units (scheme 6-7-6); the middle row of nine units and two outer rows of eight units (8-9-8 scheme); or a middle row of six units, one outer row of five units, and one outer row of seven units (pattern 5-6-7).

The containers of the present invention can accommodate smoking products of the same type or brand or different types or brands. In addition, both unfiltered smoking articles and smoking articles with different types of filters can be accommodated, as well as smoking articles of various lengths (e.g., from about 40 mm to about 180 mm) and diameters (e.g., from about 4 mm to about 9 mm). In addition, smoking products can differ in flavor strength, absorption resistance, and total solids intake. According to the preferred option, the dimensions of the container are chosen so that they correspond to the length of the smoking products and the scheme of their arrangement. In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention have a height of from about 60 mm to about 150 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment from about 70 mm to about 125 mm, the height being measured from the bottom wall to the top wall containers

In a preferred embodiment, the containers of the present invention have a width of from about 12 mm to about 150 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment from about 70 mm to about 125 mm, with the width measured from one side wall to the other side wall of the container.

In a preferred embodiment, the receptacles of the present invention have a depth of from about b mm to about 150 mm, and in a more preferred embodiment from about 12 mm to about 25 mm, the depth being measured from the front wall to the back wall container (which has a hinge between the box and the lid).

In a preferred embodiment, the ratio of container height to container depth is from about 0.3/1 to about 10/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 2/1 to about 8/1, and in an embodiment, which is most favored, from about 3/1 to 5/1.

In a preferred embodiment, the container width to container depth ratio is from about 0.3/1 to about 10/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 2/1 to about 8/1, and in an embodiment, which is most favored, from about 2/1 to 3/1.

In a preferred embodiment, the ratio of the height of the rear wall of the lid to the height of the rear wall of the container is from about 0/1 (the lid is located on the upper edge of the container) to about 1/1, in a more preferred embodiment from about 1/ 5 to about 1/10, and in the most preferred embodiment, from about 1/6 to 1/8.

If the container contains smoking products, the container may also include compartments for waste (ash or butts) or contain other consumer products such as matches, lighters, fire extinguishers, breath fresheners or electronic devices. Said other consumer products can be attached to the outside of the container, located inside the container together with smoking products, located in a separate compartment of the container, or located according to combinations of these methods.

The exterior surfaces of the containers of the present invention may be printed, embossed, or embossed, or may be otherwise decorated with manufacturer or brand logos, trademarks, slogans, or other consumer information and markings.

The containers of the present invention, after filling, can be wrapped in a cellophane film or wrapped in a transparent polymer film of, for example, high or low density polyethylene, polypropylene, oriented polypropylene, polyvinylidene chloride, in a cellulose film or in a combination thereof in a known manner. When the containers of the present invention are wrapped in a wrapper, the outer wrapper may have one or more tear strip(s). In addition, images, consumer information or other information may be printed on the outer wrapper.

Any feature described in connection with one aspect of the present invention may be applied to other aspects of the present invention in any suitable combination. In particular, aspects related to the method can be applied in aspects related to the device, and vice versa. In addition, certain, some and/or all features of one aspect may be used in certain, some and/or all features of any other aspect in any suitable combination.

In Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the container 100, which includes a resealable pack, in the open position. The container 100 includes a box 102 and a cover 104 hinged to this box along a hinge line running along the rear wall of the box. Inside said box is a resealable pack 106. The resealable pack 106 includes an adhesive label 108 for sealing the resealable pack when the container is not in use. An adhesive label 108 is permanently attached to the inner surface of the front wall 110 of the lid portion 104. The permanent attachment of the adhesive label to the lid causes the adhesive label to be automatically separated from the resealable pack when the lid is moved from the closed position to the open position, as shown in FIG. 1.

To increase the reliability and facilitate the resealable resealable pack with an adhesive sticker, an inner frame 112 is provided inside the resealable pack 106. The inner frame is a cardboard element that includes a front wall and two opposite sides other side wall. The side walls of the inner frame 112 strengthen the front wall of the pack suitable for repeated tight closure. When the cap is moved from the closed position to the open position during use, the adhesive label automatically separates from the pack and opens the access hole. As shown, the adhesive label is separated in a direction corresponding to the longitudinal axis of the container.

In Fig. 2 shows an example of the material 200 for the closure part 116 of the reusable tight closure of the pack 106. In this example, formations 202 are formed in the material. The formations are made by embossing or deep embossing in the material using embossing equipment before manufacturing this reusable seal from this material tightly closing the pack. Formations 202 have a pyramidal shape, but they can have any other acceptable three-dimensional shape. In a preferred embodiment, these formations reduce the effective surface area of the occlusion portion by approximately 17 95. As shown, the formations 202 are arranged in rows spaced apart. The location of these rows is described in more detail below.

Bulging or sunken formations reduce the effective area of the closure portion of the pack by preventing the adhesive label from making contact with a portion of the material within the formation. This leads to a reduction in the force required to separate the adhesive sticker from the part intended for closure. This ensures that the adhesive label is adhered to the pack with a reusable sealable adhesive with normal strength, but reduces the deviation from the average force required to separate the adhesive label during a single release operation. In this way, the consumer gets an improved sense of touch. The use of an adhesive which can be used repeatedly for tight closure and which has a normal strength ensures that the adhesive label remains sufficiently adhesive for tight closure even after performing many opening operations.

In Fig. C(a) and Fig. C(5) shows examples of layouts of tactile elements in the direction coinciding with the direction of separation and in the direction transverse to the direction of separation, respectively. The material 300 shown in FIG. C(a), has a plurality of formations arranged in rows spaced at a certain distance, as described above in relation to Figs. 2. As shown by arrow 302, the direction of separation is essentially parallel to the direction of the series of formations. Since the rows of formations extend parallel to the direction of separation, the force required to separate such an adhesive label from the sealing portion of the resealable pack remains essentially the same during a single opening operation. The result of the arrangement of rows of formations so that they extend parallel to the direction of separation is to provide the consumer with a constant tactile sensation.

Alternatively, as shown in FIG. With (B), the material 304 of the closure part of the bundle has a plurality of formations arranged in rows spaced apart, which extend substantially perpendicular to the direction 306 of separation.

The arrangement of formations in rows that are spaced apart, so that said rows extend essentially perpendicular to the direction of separation, can provide a so-called "zipper effect". This "zipper effect" is felt by the consumer as a change in force from high to low when separating the adhesive sticker from the pack.

The initial force is high because the surface area in the area adjacent to the separation line of the adhesive sticker is continuous and not interrupted by formations made in the material. The separation line is an imaginary line formed between the adhesive label and the resealable package. It extends across the width of the adhesive sticker.

When the separation line crosses a series of formations, the separation force is reduced due to the reduction of the surface area of the adhesive label that is in contact with the resealable bundle. When the line of separation passes through a series of formations, the area of the surface of the adhesive sticker that is in contact with the resealable bundle increases due to the absence of formations. This process is repeated each time a series of formations is crossed. In this way, an intermittent force of separation is formed. By varying the spacing between the rows and the width of each row, the frequency and amplitude of the separation force change can be adjusted to provide the consumer with improved tactile and possibly auditory sensations.

Claims (10)

FORMULA OF THE INVENTION Koo) 1. A resealable consumer product container comprising: a pack (106) designed to hold the consumer product and having an access opening through which the consumer product can be extracted; and an adhesive sticker (108) covering the access opening of said bundle (106) and extending beyond the perimeter of the access opening of said bundle (106), wherein at least a portion of said adhesive sticker (108) is removably attached to said bundle (106) with an adhesive , which can be repeatedly used for a tight closure, applied to the inner surface of a sticker (108) extending at least to the intended closing part of the bundle (106) located around the perimeter of the access hole, characterized in that the adhesive sticker (108) is permanently attached to the bundle (106) at a junction that is connected to the adhesive sticker along one edge of the adhesive sticker, and this edge of the adhesive sticker is located closer to the back of the upper surface of the bundle (106); and at least said closing portion of the pack (106) has a plurality of formations (116) arranged in a continuous repeating pattern in rows that are spaced apart, said rows extending perpendicular to the direction in which the adhesive label is separated from said pack, here the mentioned set of formations (116) is made in such a way that it reduces the effective area of the mentioned intended for closing part of the pack by about 10 95 - about 25 95, and the said formations (116) are formed on the pack by relief or deep embossing. 2. A resealable container according to claim 1, characterized in that said rows are substantially rectilinear. C. A resealable container according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the shape of each said formation is rectangular, triangular or circular. 4. A resealable container according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that said formations (116) are printed on said pack. 5. A resealable container according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that said plurality of formations (116) are provided on substantially the entire package (106). b. A resealable container according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the consumer products are smoking products. 7. A container (100) with a hinged lid, designed to contain consumer products, which includes a box (102), a lid (104), hinged to this box (102) along a hinge line that extends along the rear wall thereof a container (100) with a hinged lid, and a resealable container for consumer products, which is located inside said box (102) and includes: a pack (106) for containing consumer products, having an opening for access through which consumer products can be mined; and an adhesive sticker (108) covering the access opening of said bundle (106) and extending beyond the perimeter of the access opening of said bundle (106), wherein at least a portion of said adhesive sticker (108) is removably attached to said bundle (106) with an adhesive , which can be used multiple times for tight closure, applied to the inner surface of a sticker (108) extending at least to the closure portion of the bundle (106) located around the perimeter of the access opening, characterized in that at least said closure portion of the bundle (106) has a plurality of formations (116) arranged in a continuous repeating pattern in rows that are spaced apart, said rows extending perpendicular to the direction in which the adhesive label is separated from said pack, said plurality of formations (116) being made such that it reduces the effective area of said closing part of the pack by about 10 95 - about 25 9 5, and said adhesive sticker (108) is fixedly attached to the inner surface of the front wall of the cover (104), so that when the cover (104) is opened, the adhesive sticker (108) is separated and opens an access opening. 8. A container (100) with a hinged lid according to claim 7, which is characterized by the fact that said formations Z0 (116) are formed by relief or deep embossing on said pack (106). 9. A container (100) with a hinged lid according to claim 7 or claim 8, which is characterized in that when the lid (104) is moved to the open position, the shape of the said adhesive sticker (108) becomes curved outward. 10.
