Method for protection of kimberlite pits against underground waters of high-pressure water bearing horizons includes well drilling, formation of insulation zone through pumping in backfill solution to wells. To prevent effect of highly mineralized underground waters on kimberlite-containing rocks, decrease of material consumption of water-insulation operations backfill insulation screen is placed in zone of natural temperatures to total cross section of ore body for decrease of vertical filtration of underground waters from water-bearing horizons.
