Abstract

The method for increasing efficacy of extracting pancreatin from the pancreas of the slaughtered animals consists in increasing the area of the contact between the extragent and the raw material providing for the fluidized state of the treatment. This is achieved due to the optimal angular speed of the rotation of the maceration tank and the appropriate diameter of grinding. For example, when pancreatin is extracted from the porcine pancreas, the angular speed of 422-430 rpm is optimal while the optimal extent of grinding provides for producing the particles of the raw material with their average diameter of 1 mm.
