According to the degree of similarity of these parameters, a judgment on the degree of maturity of watermelon is made. As the structural parameter of the signal statistics there can be the variance of gaps between the characteristic time moments in the signal, for example, between the signal transition moments through extreme or zero values, or the ratio of counts in the left and right parts of the histogram of the signal received from watermelon.
