Abstract
The proposed device for observing displacement of rocks contains a detecting element, which is fixed at a reference point, a transfer mechanism, a displacement transducer, a measuring unit, a control unit, and additionally, a testing unit. The transfer mechanism contains a cable, which is coupled with the detecting element and, via the pulley, with a counterweight. The testing unit provides a possibility to simulate displacement of the rocks by an actuator, which moves the cable in response to the corresponding signal of the control unit.
