Спосіб включає в себе їх нагрівання до температури аустенітизації, витримку, охолодження і відпуск, причому нагрівання, витримку та охолодження повторюють три рази, після двох нагрівань вісь охолоджують на повітрі до , а після третього нагрівання - водою до температури , а відпуск проводять при температурі протягом 1,5-2,0 годин.
