Abstract

The invention relates to the medicine, namely to the method for fashioning the shared ureterocolostoma in symptomatic surgical treatment of the vesico-vaginal and vagino-rectal fistulae in non-resectable advanced cancer in small pelvis. The method comprises lower-middle-median laparotomy, the dissection of the peritoneum on the flanks, the separation and the catheterization of the ureters, the separation of the sigmoid colon to the rectosigmoid division, the mobilization of the sigmoid colon from the mesosigmoid, the suturing of the mobilized sigmoid colon with the aid of UKL-40 apparatus. Then the sutured sigmoid colon is cut, the rectal stump is sutured with the interrupted sutures, the sigmoid colon is exteriorized as the double barrel colostoma on the rubber tube. The anterior wall of the colon is dissected transversally along the ureter diameter. The catheterized ureter is inserted into the generated opening and fixed to the colonic mucosa with the separate sutured with the catheter being exteriorized through the sigmostoma. The second ureter is treated in the same way generating the shared urinocolostoma. Then the sigmoid stump is sutured with two-row suture. The drainages are set on the flanks and extended into the pelvis. Finally, the wound is sutured layer-by-layer to the drainages.
