Abstract

The group of inventions relates to the general mechanical engineering. Method of automatic balancing of the rotor is that on the rotor a passive auto-balancer is mounted, with clamping mechanism designed to lock and release of the compensating loads of the auto-balancer. For automatic rotor balancing, a control force on the rotor is generated in the form of forced jump-like change of instantaneous speed of rotation, and then returning the rotational speed to the initial value. By means of the auto-balancer pressing mechanism compensating weights are released and so auto-balancing process is realized. After completing this process once again control force on the rotor is provide in the form of forced jump-like instantaneous change of rotation speed and then returning the rotational speed to the initial value, whereby with the pressing mechanism of auto-balancer compensating weights are fixed with respect to the rotor. There is also a device for automatic balancing. The technical result is in periodic automatic balancing of the rotor directly at operating speed of rotation while avoiding the danger of unbalancing the rotor and increase of vibration of rotary machine.
