Abstract

The method of prevention of pathological scars of the skin involves the conduct of physiotherapy and the use of antipruritic agents. After surgery and the beginning of the formation of the postoperative scar, the patient conducts extracorporeal shock wave therapy with an interval of 4-5 days in combination with applications of silicone gel Strataderm. However, depending on the type of healing of the postoperative wound (primary or secondary tension), patients apply different parameters of extracorporeal shock wave therapy.
