Abstract

The invention relates to sorbents and their preparation and can be used at sorption treatment of water from admixtures of arsenic at preparation of potable water. The task of the invention is the preparation of hybrid selective to arsenic sorbent and process for its preparation, and also process for the treatment of water with such sorbent and filler of cartridge filters by combination of initial components for the preparation of sorbent and their physicochemical interaction, as a result of which high selectivity of sorbent is achieved in relation of As(III), as well as As(V), high efficiency of water treatment, including with the help of filler of cartridge filters. Hybrid selective to arsenic sorbent as base contains anionite, modified with humic substances to maximal achievement of their number in anionite, and additionally contains immobilized layer, saturated with iron (III) compound.
