Abstract

The invention relates to a method for refining gold ores and concentrates. A method includes leaching of metals with alkali cyanide solutions containing 0.3 % KCN, 0.6 % KOH prepared using water, activated under the action of the contact nonequilibrium low-temperature plasma containing 100-300 mg/L of superoxide and peroxide compounds in the presence of a complexing agent, followed by separation of gold containing solution and the solid residue with the prior mechanical activation of the ore concentrate with wet method. According to the invention the mechanical activation of the ore concentrate for 20-40 min. is carried out using as a basic medium a solution produced by extracting canola seed meal with an aqueous alcohol extractant, prepared using water manufactured by water treated under the action of the contact nonequilibrium low-temperature plasma containing 200-500 mg/L of peroxide and superoxide compounds and pH = 9-11. The technical effect of the invention is reducing the duration of the regrinding stage and increase the degree of dispersion and porosity of sulfide minerals.
