Abstract
A root head cleaner has distinctions from the already known designs, which manifest themselves in the use of additional elastic cleaning elements, made as wide elastic plates shaped as a zigzag, the middles of which are reinforced by round resilient rods, certain ends of which are fixed on the generatrix surface of a driving horizontal shaft, and the reverse sides of free ends thereof comprise longitudinal grooves. The ends of conic compression springs arranged on the planes of movable triangular brackets are mounted onto the round resilient rods through the grooves. The brackets are mounted into arched guides of the shaft and additionally connected with the shaft with the aid of mechanisms of changing and fixing position thereof, and on the working surfaces of the plates sharpened projections are arranged.
