Abstract

The use of derivatives of dehydroamino acids of the general formula EMBED ISISServer , (I) where: 1) R=CH3; R1=CO2K; 2) R=CH3; R1=CONH2; 3) R=C2H5; R1=CONH2, 4) R=C2H5; R1=C6H4OCH3, as agents, improving frost – and cold resistance. The field of application – agriculture; agents protecting plants from unfavourable growing conditions. The task is solved by means of applying derivatives of dehydroamino acids of the general formula (I), which are promoters of biosynthesis of natural phytohormones by mechanism of action thereof. Presowing seed treatment with aqueous solutions of these compounds in concentrations of 10-1000 mg/l contributes to lowering a physical stress of plants at negative temperatures and reduces the dependence of plant production on environmental weather conditions. The invention allows increasing the yield of agricultural crops on the account of early sowing and protecting such crops against cold and frosts. A method for treating is incrustation or a semi-moist one.
