Abstract

The invention relates to methods of geophysical investigations of soil masses by means of electromagnetic waves. A method of radio-wave probing of soil mass includes choice of basic points on the surface of soil mass and measuring points, formation of electromagnetic field in the basic points by means of first device that includes transmitting frame antenna and transmitter of radio-waves, measurement of the values of electromagnetic field strength in the measurement points located at different distances from the basic points. The measurement of the values of electromagnetic field strength is carried out by means of the second device comprising a receiving frame antenna and receiver of radio-waves, with obtaining values of longitudinal conductivity of soil mass EMBED Equation.3 and the values of imaginary specific resistance of soil mass EMBED Equation.3 through mathematical processing of measured values of the electromagnetic field strength and plotting the graphs of dependence of longitudinal conductivity of soil mass EMBED Equation.3 and imaginary specific resistance of soil mass EMBED Equation.3 on the soil mass depth. The invention gives higher accuracy of the results obtained.
