Abstract

A drainage irrigator for intracavitary ultrasonic sanitization and wound draining relates to the medicine, in particularly to the medical devices and may be used for administering the drugs into the cavities, improving the penetration of the active ingredients into the tissues, preventing suppuration and clearing the cavity of the septic wounds in open or endoscopic surgery. The device consists of the elastic tube (1) with two perforated canals (2) and isolated extra canal (3). The ultrasonic piezoceramic emitter (4) at the operating end of the tube (1) is covered with the sealed acoustically adjusted layer. The emitter (4) is connected with the isolated conductors (5) located inside isolated extra canal (3). The tube (1) contains the autonomous control unit (6) with matching output connected with the emitter (4) via the isolated conductors (5). The autonomous control unit (6) is equipped with the switch (7) and indicator (8). One of the canals (1) is equipped with the valve (9) for controlling the flow of the solution being administered. The element (10) designed as the hollow plastic balloon at the operating end of the tube (1) prevents the drainage from being removed from the wound cavity. The element (10) is connected with the tube (11). At a distance from the operating end of the tube (1), the element (12) for fixation of the device to the skin is located. The connective element (13) designed as a film or a mash (including those with sorption properties) is used for connecting the elastic tubes (1) and the piezoceramic emitters (4).
