Abstract

The invention relates to the technology of thin and hyperfine grinding of materials and producing disperse powders, suspensions, aerosols. and can be used in power, ore-dressing, chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other branches of industry. According to the first invention in a method of jet milling materials at least two opposite gas-disperse flows with particles to be ground are previously generated, while a part of gaseous components are separated by their deviation in opposite directions followed by the first stage of grinding a disperse material in linear flows through collision of flows at an angle between the vectors of their velocities close to 180 degrees, then the resulting intermediate product is introduced into a vortex formed by supplying selected gaseous components at an angle to the radius of grinding zone at a rate sufficient to form a vortex, and then the second stage of grinding is performed. According to the second invention, an apparatus for jet grinding materials has a milling chamber with a grinding zone formed by its side cylindrical and end walls with holes connected to nozzles. The nozzles for introduction into the chamber of disperse flows are arranged coaxially and equipped with means for supplying speed flows of energy carrier and the nozzle outlets are equipped with devices for removing a part of gas components directing them in the opposite sides of chamber at an angle to the radius of grinding zone and formation of the vortex in the chamber. Technical result: substantial increase of the efficiency of grinding of hard materials and obtaining finished product of ultrafine grinding.
