Abstract

The invention relates to the synthesis of titanium dioxide and intended for the use in photocatalysis, medicine, optical engineering and for creation of highly sensitive sensors. The process for the preparation of high porous photoactive titanium dioxide comprises simultaneous hydrolysis in aqueous medium of titanium tetrachloride and derivatives of silicon dioxide of inorganic and organic nature, separation of sediment and its calcinations. The proposed process allows synthesizing of high porous photoactive materials with improved photoactivity by simplified method.
