Abstract
A stepped drive comprises a driving pulley on a driving shaft and a driven pulley on a shaft of a threshing drum each pulley has a wedge groove, the grooves of the both pulleys are connected by a wedge belt, each of the pulleys is made as a three-stepped one. A ratio of initial diameters of the driving and driven pulleys provide an angular velocity of the surface of the drum at the first step - 30 m/s, at the second step - 15 m/s, at the third step - 13 m/s. The maximum deviation from the stated velocities is up to ten percent in each side. At each of the steps of the both pulleys wedge grooves are made by two or three ones, and a drive of the threshing drum is carried out according to two or three wedge belts.
