Abstract

The invention relates to microbiology and relates to the novel fungus strain Penicillium roseopurpureum, which can be used for production of mycotoxin (secondary metabolite), curvularine, which as part of preparations with fungicide activity is used for prevention and protection of drug plants, horticultural, ornamental and other agricultural cultures from diseases. The strain Penicillium roseopurpureum – producer of curvularine, is deposited in depository of microorganisms of Zabolotnyi Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine under register number IMB F-100055.
