Abstract

The method for predicting bone fracture healing comprises the clinical examination and X-ray imaging. In the blood serum, polymorphism of MTHFR C677T, eNOS T 786, and the levels of osteocalcin and pyridinoline are assayed. The heterozygous 677-CT, 786-TC with osteocalcin level of 17.2-38.0 ng/mL, pyridinoline level of 4.5-6.5 ng/mL are considered as the favorable predictors of bone fracture healing.
