Abstract

This invention relates to a clothes hanger, comprising a main body, a hook, and a pair of hangers. The main body is formed by a front panel, a back panel, and a top panel, creating a chamber. An opening is located at the bottom, and a central axis is positioned between the front and back panels. The hook is positioned above the main body and is rotatably or detachably connected to it, allowing the hanger to be suspended on various supports. Each hanger is fitted onto the central axis via a rotating part and can rotate around the axis. Each hanger has a wave-like structure, consisting of multiple protrusions and recesses forming a plurality of clamping parts to accommodate and hold garments of different thicknesses. The hanger has a round protrusion that engages with multiple locking parts located on the inside of the front or back panel when the hanger is swayed under force, thereby fixing the hanger at a specific angle. With this structure, the angles of the two hangers can be adjusted separately to accommodate the hanging needs of different garments.

Coat hanger

This invention relates to a clothes hanger, and more particularly to a clothes hanger with a restorative clamping part, which can provide a hanging or clamping method for carrying a variety of items such as clothing, pants, socks, towels or bags, and also has the convenience of folding and storing.

Most clothes hangers on the market consist of a fixed-shape main body and a hook, with fixed rods extending from both sides for hanging clothes. This type of hanger has a simple structure, but its use has some limitations.

First, the extension bars on both sides of traditional clothes hangers are mostly made of rigid materials, which can only be used to hang ordinary clothes. They are not easy to securely hold smaller or slippery clothes (such as underwear, socks, and baby clothes), often causing them to slip off or not be able to be dried effectively. Therefore, it is necessary to use a clip to hold them to the hanger, which is inconvenient and troublesome.

Secondly, although there are clothes hangers on the market today with clamping components on both sides, they are mostly made of metal or hard clips, which are relatively rigid. If you need to adjust the clamping angle or store them, you often have to manually disassemble them or they take up a lot of space, making them inconvenient to carry or store in large quantities.

Furthermore, while existing foldable clothes hangers have a folding function, their pivots can only be positioned at specific angles, such as fully unfolded or fully folded. If users want to adjust the clamping angle according to different clothing sizes or space conditions, they cannot flexibly fix it in any position, which reduces its practicality.

Traditional clothes hangers offer limited options for hanging clothes and need improvement. Therefore, the main objective of this new type of hanger is to solve the problems of various clothes hangers on the market.

The present invention provides a clothes hanger, including a main body and a pair of hangers, the pair of hangers being disposed on both sides of the main body, each hanger extending outward from the main body by a length, the hanger having a continuous clamping portion in the length direction.

In one embodiment, the clamping part is a bracket having a wave-like structure that extends along its length and bends back and forth in its lateral direction. The wave-like structure includes a plurality of consecutive protrusions and a recess between two adjacent protrusions. The clamping part includes two adjacent protrusions and a recess between the two protrusions.

In one embodiment, the main body is surrounded by a front plate, a rear plate, and a top plate, and has an interior chamber. The bottom of the main body has an opening that extends upwards on both sides. The chamber communicates with the outside through the opening. Each bracket is rotatably mounted between the front and rear plates via a central axis. Each bracket has a circular protrusion, and each bracket is subjected to force. The device can swing freely within the opening using the pivot as a fulcrum, and the round protrusion swings accordingly. A plurality of locking parts are provided on the swing path of the round protrusion on the inner side of the front plate opposite to one of the brackets; a plurality of locking parts are provided on the swing path of the round protrusion on the inner side of the rear plate opposite to the other bracket; each of the aforementioned locking parts can be locked by its opposite round protrusion.

This new type of clothes hanger features a wave-shaped structure with multiple clamping parts formed by protrusions and recesses. It can simultaneously hold thin clothing (such as socks, towels, and underwear) or thick clothing. The locking action of the round protrusions and the locking parts can fix the hanger at different angles, and the left and right hangers can be adjusted independently to accommodate different types and sizes of clothing. Only one hanger is needed to handle various sizes and thicknesses of clothing at the same time, without the need for additional accessories. The hanger can also be folded inward to reduce its size, making it easy to store and carry. This improves upon the shortcomings of traditional clothes hangers, which are not easy to store, and it is also multifunctional with a wide range of applications.

In this embodiment, the hook 20 is located above the main body 10 and is detachably connected to the main body 10. In this embodiment, the hook 20 is rotatably connected to the main body 10, so that the hanger 100 can be adjusted in different directions when hanging. In other embodiments, the hook 20 and the main body 10 can also be integrated in one piece. The hook 20 allows the hanger 100 to be hooked onto supports such as clothes racks, clotheslines, and clothes chains.

In one embodiment, the pair of hangers 30 are disposed on both sides of the main body 10. Each hanger 30 extends outward from the main body 10 by a length. The hanger 30 has continuous clamping portions 33 in the length direction. In this embodiment, the hanger 30 extends along the length direction and bends back and forth in the lateral direction of the hanger to form a wave-like structure. The wave-like structure constitutes the clamping portion 33. The wave-shaped structure includes multiple consecutive protrusions 31 and a recess 32 between two adjacent protrusions 31. Each clamping part 33 includes two adjacent protrusions 31 and a recess 32 between the two protrusions 31. Clothing is clamped in the recess 32 between the two protrusions 31. Since the hanger 30 is a wave-shaped structure that bends back and forth continuously, multiple clamping parts 33 are formed on each side of the hanger 30. Furthermore, the distance between two adjacent protrusions 31 of each clamping part 33 is ≥0. When at least part of the two adjacent protrusions 31 are in contact, that is, when the distance between them is zero, the recess 32 has no space and is suitable for clamping thinner clothing such as socks, handkerchiefs, bibs, small towels, underwear, or underwear. When the two protrusions 31 maintain a certain distance, a smaller distance is suitable for clamping thin clothing, while a larger gap in the recess 32 is suitable for inserting and clamping thicker clothing. In addition, in this embodiment, the protrusions 31 are arranged vertically. In other embodiments, as shown in Figure 9, the protrusions 31 can also be arranged horizontally to meet different hanging needs. In this embodiment, the hanger 30 is made of an elastic material, which is a material that has the property and ability to deform under force and recover, such as various plastic materials with the above-mentioned properties and alloy steels with such properties, such as spring steel.

In one embodiment, the main body 10 is formed by a front plate 12, a rear plate 13, and an upper plate 11, forming a chamber 16 inside, and having an opening 18 at the bottom. The chamber 16 communicates with the outside through the opening 18. Each hanger 30 is rotatably disposed between the front plate 12 and the rear plate 13 by means of a spindle 14. Each hanger 30 has a rotating part 15 sleeved on the spindle 14. The rotating part 15 is a block, specifically a cylindrical block, to facilitate the insertion of the spindle 14 (see Figure 4). Furthermore, a circular protrusion 34 is provided on the hanger 30, allowing the hanger 30 to swing freely within the opening 18 with the central axis 14 as the fulcrum when subjected to force, and the circular protrusion 34 also moves in a swinging manner. The left and right sides of the opening 18 extend upwards by a certain distance, and their height can be approximately equal to that of the central axis 14. With this setting, the hangers 30 on both sides can be unfolded to a height level with the main body 10. In other embodiments, the distance that the left and right sides of the opening 18 extend upwards can be set to a position higher or lower than the central axis 14, thereby controlling the angle range of the hanger 30 when unfolded. In addition, on the inner side of the front panel 12, a plurality of locking parts 17 are provided on the swing path of the round protrusion 34 opposite to one of the hanging brackets 30, so that when the hanging bracket 30 swings to any position, the round protrusion 34 can be locked in any locking part 17, thereby fixing the hanging bracket 30 at a specific angle. Similarly, on the inner side of the rear panel 13, a plurality of locking parts 17 are also provided on the swing path of the round protrusion 34 opposite to the other hanging bracket 30, and the hanging bracket 30 can also be fixed at a specific angle through the same locking action. It can be seen that the present invention can adjust and fix the hanging brackets 30 on the left and right sides at different angles to meet the hanging needs of different items.

The above is a description of the components and features of the clothes hanger 100 provided in a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Its usage features are then explained below:

When using this new type of clothes hanger 100, the user first hangs the hook 20 on a support, such as a traditional clothesline, rope, or wall-mounted bracket (not shown). In this embodiment, the hook 20 is rotatably connected to the main body 10, and its hanging angle can be adjusted according to the direction of the support to ensure that the clothes hanger 100 maintains balance when hanging. Next, the user can apply force to the two side hangers 30 to move them between the horizontal and vertical directions, and unfold or fold the two side hangers 30 to the appropriate positions according to the needs of different clothing sizes. When unfolded or folded to the desired fixed position, the round protrusion 34 on the hanger 30 is engaged with the locking part 17 between the swing paths of the round protrusion 34 to fix the hanger 30 at that angle. After adjusting the hanger 30 to the appropriate position, there are different ways to hang the clothes depending on what you want to hang. For example, if you want to hang clothes, you can put the cuffs of the clothes 91 into the two hangers 30 on both sides, and hang them on the hanger 100 with the support of the hanger 30 (see Figure 7). When you want to hang clothes 40 with shoulder straps or underwear (see Figure 5), you only need to place the shoulder strap 41 into the recess 32 of the hanger 30. The clothes 40 with shoulder straps can be hung on the hanger 100 by the support or clamp of the recess 32. There is no need to use clothespins to clamp the clothes on the hanger 100. For socks 93 (or underwear, towels, bags, etc.), apply slight force to open the clamping part 33, place the garment inside, and utilize the self-recovering material property of the clamping part 33 to clamp and secure the garment to the hanger 100 after rebound (see Figure 6). Similarly, ordinary garments can also be clamped and secured to the hanger 100 using the clamping part 33. This method can prevent clothes and trousers from being stretched open by the hanger 100 for a long time, which can cause the clothes and trousers to deform or the elastic band to loosen. In addition, the clamping part 33 can be used in both downward and upward directions, allowing users to make use of it according to the situation. This provides more versatility and options. Since the clamping parts 33 are continuous and numerous, they can hold more small items such as socks and handkerchiefs, and no additional clothespins are needed, making them very convenient and practical to use.

Please refer to Figure 9. In another embodiment, the protrusion 31 of the clothes hanger 100 can be arranged horizontally. In addition to hanging clothes as in the aforementioned vertical embodiment, the clamping part 33 is arranged in the up-down direction when the protrusion 31 is arranged vertically, but when the protrusion 31 is arranged horizontally, the clamping part 33 faces the front and back direction. Therefore, socks 93, underwear, pants and towels can be clamped on the front and back sides respectively, so that a clothes hanger 100 can hang many clothes at the same time, saving drying space.

Furthermore, the materials used for the hanger 30 can offer different benefits. Metal hangers provide strong load-bearing capacity and stable clamping, making them suitable for hanging heavier garments. Flexible plastic hangers effectively prevent indentations on clothing, making them ideal for hanging delicate or lightweight garments. Because the hanger 30 offers different uses depending on its material and structural design, users can choose different styles of hangers 100 to meet their daily drying needs. When storage or portability is required, the hanger 30 can be folded inwards to reduce its size and facilitate storage and transport.

Claims (15)

A clothes hanger includes: a main body; and a pair of hanging brackets disposed on both sides of the main body, each hanging bracket extending outward from the main body by a length, the hanging bracket having continuous clamping portions in the length direction. As described in claim 1, the clothes hanger has a wavy structure extending along its length and bending back and forth in its lateral direction, the wavy structure comprising a plurality of consecutive protrusions and a recess between two adjacent protrusions, the clamping portion comprising two adjacent protrusions and a recess between the two protrusions. The clothes hanger as described in claim 2, wherein at least a portion of the two adjacent protrusions are in contact with each other. The clothes hanger as described in claim 2, wherein the two adjacent protrusions have a distance between them. As described in claim 2, the clothes hanger, wherein the protrusion is oriented horizontally. As described in claim 2, the clothes hanger, wherein the protrusion is oriented vertically. The clothes hanger described in claim 1, wherein the main body is provided with a hook. The clothes hanger described in any of the claims 1 to 7, wherein the hanger is made of an elastic material. The clothes hanger as described in claim 8, wherein the elastic material is a plastic material. The clothes hanger as described in claim 8, wherein the elastic material is alloy steel. As described in any one of claims 1 to 7 of the patent application, the main body is surrounded by a front panel, a back panel, and a top panel, and has an interior chamber. The bottom of the main body has an opening that extends upwards on both sides, and the chamber communicates with the outside through the opening. Each hanger is rotatably mounted between the front panel and the back panel by a central axis. Each hanger has a circular protrusion. When each hanger is subjected to force, it can swing freely within the range of the opening with the central axis as the fulcrum, and the circular protrusion swings accordingly. On the inner side of the front panel and the back panel, on the swing path of the circular protrusion of each hanger, there are a plurality of locking parts, each of which can be locked by its opposite circular protrusion.
