Abstract

A medical equipment storage and retrieval device is suitable for accommodating multiple medical equipment, including a cabinet and at least one guide unit. The cabinet defines a storage space suitable for accommodating the medical equipment, and includes a placement port and a take-out port connected to the storage space. The at least one guide unit is arranged in the storage space, so that when the medical equipment is put into the cabinet from the placement port, the medical equipment falls into the storage space under the guidance of the at least one guide unit, and is sequentially stacked next to the take-out port, so that the medical equipment is neatly arranged in the storage space for easy retrieval and use.

Medical Equipment Access Device

The present invention relates to a medical tool storage and retrieval device, in particular to a medical tool storage and retrieval device for accommodating medical tools.

Precision infusion sets are one of the medical instruments that nurses frequently use during work. They are usually stored in drawers. When nurses need to replenish them, they must first move out the remaining medical instruments in the drawer before adding new ones. In addition, due to the low height of the drawer, nurses need to bend over to take them.

Therefore, without proper configuration, all medical instruments are stacked and squeezed in the storage space, which makes the storage space very messy. In addition, the bending action also creates ergonomic risks to the musculoskeletal system, which may cause occupational injuries over time. Therefore, there is still room for improvement.

Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a medical tool storage and retrieval device that can facilitate access and guide medical tools so that they can be neatly stored.

Therefore, the novel medical tool storage and retrieval device is suitable for accommodating a plurality of medical tools, and includes a cabinet and at least one guide unit.

The cabinet defines a storage space suitable for storing the medical appliances, and includes a placement opening and a removal opening connected to the storage space.

The at least one guiding unit is arranged in the accommodating space, and when the medical tools are put into the cabinet from the placement opening, the medical tools fall into the accommodating space under the guidance of the at least one guiding unit, and are stacked in sequence beside the placement opening.

In some implementations, the medical equipment storage and access device includes a plurality of guide units staggered up and down, which separate the storage space into a first storage chamber, a second storage chamber, and a third storage chamber, and the medical equipment are stacked in the first storage chamber, the second storage chamber, and the third storage chamber.

In some embodiments, the medical equipment storage and access device further includes a first door panel connected to the cabinet, and a placement opening connected to the accommodating space is formed between the first door panel and the cabinet.

In some embodiments, the medical equipment storage and access device further includes a second door panel connected to the cabinet and disposed below the first door panel.

In some implementations, the medical equipment storage and access device further includes a third door panel connected to the cabinet and disposed below the second door panel, and the access opening connected to the accommodating space is formed between the third door panel and the cabinet.

In some embodiments, the at least one guiding unit includes a rod disposed transversely in the accommodating space and connected to the left and right sides of the cabinet, and a guiding member mounted on the rod.

In some embodiments, the cabinet further includes a sliding guide disposed at the rear of the bottom of the accommodating space.

In some embodiments, the second door panel includes a transparent window formed on a surface and an identification portion adjacent to the transparent window.

In some implementations, among the guide units, the guide units far from the door panels are higher than the guide units adjacent to the door panels.

The efficacy of the present invention is that: the at least one guiding unit guides the medical appliances to fall into the storage space, so that the medical appliances are stacked in order beside the access opening, thereby preventing the medical appliances from being randomly stacked in the storage space; furthermore, the design of the placement opening and the access opening allows medical personnel to replenish and take out the medical appliances separately; in addition, the transparent window and the identification portion allow medical personnel to directly see the inventory of the medical appliances in the storage space, thereby facilitating the replenishment of the medical appliances.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4 , an embodiment of the novel medical equipment storage and access device is suitable for accommodating a plurality of medical equipment 6 (e.g., precision infusion sets I.V. Sets), and includes a cabinet 1, a plurality of guide units 2, a first door panel 3, a second door panel 4, and a third door panel 5.

The cabinet 1 defines a storage space 11 suitable for accommodating the medical tools 6, and includes a placement port 12, a removal port 13, and a sliding guide 14 disposed at the bottom of the storage space 11, wherein the placement port 12 and the removal port 13 are connected to the storage space 11. In actual use, since the cabinet 1 is disposed at a height of about 130 cm from the ground, medical personnel can stand and place the medical tools 6 into the storage space 11 from the placement port 12, and take them from the removal port 13 when necessary, so that the medical personnel do not have to bend over to take them, thereby reducing muscle damage to the medical personnel and conforming to the design of ergonomics.

The guide units 2 are arranged in the storage space 11. When the medical tools 6 are put into the cabinet 1 from the placement port 12, the medical tools 6 are guided by the guide units 2 and fall into the storage space 11, so that the medical tools 6 are stacked in an orderly manner beside the placement port 13, thereby preventing the medical tools 6 from being randomly stacked in the storage space 11.

Each of the guide units 2 includes a rod 21 disposed transversely in the accommodating space 11 and connected to the left and right sides of the cabinet 1, and a guide member 22 mounted on the rod 21. In this embodiment, the rod 21 is a rotatable and retractable hanging rod, which can be disposed on the cabinets 1 of different sizes and can be easily disassembled when not in use. In this embodiment, the guide member 22 is a transparent plastic sheet, but it is not limited to this, and can also be other soft or hard partitions, partitions, etc. The distance from the bottom of the guide member 22 to the bottom plate of the cabinet 1 is greater than the height of a medical tool 6.

In this embodiment, the guide units 2 are staggered up and down and divide the accommodation space 11 into a first accommodation chamber 111, a second accommodation chamber 112 and a third accommodation chamber 113. Due to the staggered design of the guide units 2, when the medical staff puts the medical tools 6 into the cabinet 1 from the placement port 12, they can be blocked by the rods 21 and slide down to the accommodation space 11 along the guide members 22, and are stacked in the first accommodation chamber 111, the second accommodation chamber 112 and the third accommodation chamber 113 in sequence, so that the medical tools 6 will not be completely stacked and squeezed in the accommodation space 11.

As shown in FIG. 4 , if the positions of the first door panels 3, the second door panels 4 and the third door panels 5 are taken as the front, among the guide units 2, the guide units 2 far away from the door panels 3, 4, 5 are higher than the guide units 2 adjacent to the door panels 3, 4, 5, that is, the heights of the rods 21 gradually increase from front to back, so that the openings at the tops of the first accommodating chambers 111, the second accommodating chambers 112 and the third accommodating chambers 113 gradually increase from front to back, thereby facilitating the placement of the medical instruments 6 in the accommodating chambers at the rear.

In this embodiment, the sliding guide 14 can make the medical tools 6 at the bottom of the first accommodation chamber 111 near the rear wall of the cabinet 1 slide forward, and will not be stacked at the bottom corner of the rear interior of the cabinet 1. In another embodiment, the structure of the cabinet 1 at the bottom corner of the rear interior can also be designed as an inclined structure, or the guide 22 of the guide unit 2 at the rear is tilted from the bottom to the front, so that the medical tools 6 at the rear can be gathered forward.

The first door panel 3 is connected to the cabinet 1 , and forms a placement opening 12 connected to the accommodating space 11 between the first door panel 3 and the cabinet 1 , so that medical personnel can open the first door panel 3 and put the medical tools 6 into the cabinet 1 through the placement opening 12 .

The second door panel 4 is connected to the cabinet 1 and disposed below the first door panel 3, and includes a transparent window 41 formed on the surface and an identification portion 42 next to the transparent window 41, so that medical personnel can directly see the medical tools 6 in the accommodating space 11 without opening the second door panel 4. In this embodiment, the identification portion 42 is a sticker or icon with a digital mark, which is used to indicate the current inventory of the medical tools 6, which is convenient for medical personnel to replenish stocks, but the display method of the aforementioned identification portion 42 is not limited to this. As shown in Figure 2, the digital mark of the identification portion 42 can represent the approximate number of copies of the medical tools 6 when they are stacked to the height, so that the current inventory can be quickly checked, reducing unnecessary consumption of medical materials and avoiding hoarding or shortages.

The third door panel 5 is connected to the cabinet 1 and disposed below the second door panel 4 , and forms an access opening 13 connected to the accommodating space 11 between the third door panel 5 and the cabinet 1 , so that medical personnel can open the third door panel 5 and take the medical tools 6 from the access opening 13 .

When in use, the medical staff only needs to open the first door panel 3 and put the medical tools 6 into the storage space 11 from the placement opening 12. If the medical tools 6 need to be taken out, the medical staff can open the third door panel 5 and take out the medical tools 6 from the placement opening 13.

In summary, the guide unit 2 guides the medical tools 6 to fall into the storage space 11, so that the medical tools 6 are stacked in an orderly manner beside the access opening 13, thereby preventing the medical tools 6 from being randomly stacked in the storage space 11; furthermore, the design of the placement opening 12 and the access opening 13 allows medical personnel to replenish and take out the medical tools 6 separately; in addition, the transparent window 41 and the identification portion 42 allow medical personnel to directly see the inventory of the medical tools 6 in the storage space 11, which is convenient for medical personnel to replenish, so the purpose of the novel device can be achieved.

However, the above is only an example of the implementation of the present invention, and it cannot be used to limit the scope of the implementation of the present invention. All simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the scope of the patent application of the present invention and the content of the patent specification are still within the scope of the present patent.

Claims (9)

A medical equipment storage and retrieval device, suitable for accommodating a plurality of medical equipment, comprises: a cabinet, defining a storage space suitable for accommodating the medical equipment, and including a placement port and a placement port connected to the storage space; and at least one guide unit, arranged in the storage space, so that when the medical equipment is put into the cabinet from the placement port, the medical equipment falls into the storage space under the guidance of the at least one guide unit, and is sequentially stacked next to the placement port. The medical equipment storage and access device as described in claim 1 comprises a plurality of guide units staggered up and down, wherein the guide units separate the storage space into a first storage chamber, a second storage chamber and a third storage chamber, and the medical equipment are stacked in the first storage chamber, the second storage chamber and the third storage chamber. The medical equipment storage and retrieval device as described in claim 1, further comprising a first door panel connected to the cabinet, wherein the placement opening connected to the accommodating space is formed between the first door panel and the cabinet. The medical equipment storage and access device as described in claim 3 further includes a second door panel connected to the cabinet and arranged below the first door panel. The medical equipment storage and retrieval device as described in claim 4 further comprises a third door panel connected to the cabinet and disposed below the second door panel, wherein the access opening connected to the storage space is formed between the third door panel and the cabinet. A medical equipment storage and retrieval device as described in claim 2, wherein each of the guide units includes a rod laterally arranged in the accommodating space and connected to the left and right sides of the cabinet, and a guide member mounted on the rod. A medical equipment storage and retrieval device as described in claim 1, wherein the cabinet further includes a sliding guide disposed at the rear of the bottom of the accommodating space. A medical equipment storage and access device as described in claim 4, wherein the second door panel includes a transparent window formed on the surface and an identification portion located next to the transparent window. A medical equipment storage and access device as described in claim 5, wherein among the guide units, the guide units far from the door panels are higher than the guide units adjacent to the door panels.
