Abstract

The novel sock-wearing aid comprises a base, a sock structure and an auxiliary rod. The rear end of the base is formed with a placement groove and a hook portion. The sock structure is installed on the base and comprises a sock portion and a guide portion connected to each other. The sock portion is formed with a notch. The top end of the auxiliary rod has a shoe horn portion. The bottom end of the auxiliary rod has a coupling end and a movable hook. The movable hook is arranged on the coupling end so as to be movable up and down. The novel socks can be convenient for people with limited mobility to put on socks. The socks are put on the sock part backwards, and the movable hook of the auxiliary rod is hooked on the hook part of the base to stabilize the base. The person with limited mobility moves the foot along the guide part of the sock structure, and the socks are put on the foot, thereby improving the convenience of wearing the socks. When not in use, the auxiliary rod can be stably inserted into the coupling groove of the base for easy storage.

Sock Wearing Aids

The utility model relates to a sock-wearing assistive device, in particular to an assistive device used to assist a user to put on socks for himself or others.

Socks can provide protection and warmth for the human feet, so they have become one of the clothes that people often wear in their daily lives.

Generally speaking, when people put on socks for their feet, they need to bend their waists and stretch their arms, or bend their legs to bring their feet closer to the reach of their hands, so that they can touch their feet and put on socks. However, for people with limited mobility, such as people with physical disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, or people who cannot bend their waists or legs due to injuries, putting on socks for their feet is very inconvenient. If people with limited mobility want to put on socks by themselves, it often takes a lot of time and energy, so it is more tiring, and there is a possibility of injury due to bending the body when putting on socks. If a caregiver puts on socks for people with limited mobility, it will still make the caregiver more tired and inconvenient.

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a sock-wearing aid, so as to improve the current problem that people with limited mobility find it difficult to wear socks, and that wearing socks is time-consuming, tiring and inconvenient.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the new sock-wearing aid comprises: A base, the rear end of which is formed with a placement groove and a hook portion, the placement groove is formed with a placement opening on the top side of the base, and is recessed downward from the placement opening; A sock structure, which can be detachably mounted on the base, the sock structure is sheet-shaped and concave and arc-shaped, and comprises a sock portion and a guide portion connected to each other, the sock portion is formed with at least one notch, and the guide portion is inclined downward from the rear end to the front end; and An auxiliary rod, the top of which has a shoe horn portion, the bottom of which has a coupling end and a movable hook, the movable hook being arranged on the coupling end so as to be movable up and down, when the coupling end extends into the placement slot of the base through the placement opening, the movable hook moves upward and retracts into the coupling end, so that the auxiliary rod is coupled to the placement slot of the base, when the coupling end is separated from the placement slot, the movable hook moves downward and protrudes from the coupling end, and the movable hook can be used to hook on the hooking portion of the base.

The novel sock-wearing aid can facilitate the disabled to wear socks. The use method of the novel sock-wearing aid is to place the socks in the sock-wearing structure, put the neck of the socks on the sock-wearing part, install the sock-wearing structure on the base, and hook the hook part of the base with the movable hook of the auxiliary rod. The disabled puts the foot into the socks and moves the foot along the guide part of the sock-wearing structure. The socks will be put on the foot along with the movement of the foot. Therefore, the disabled can put on the socks conveniently, and the caregiver can also put on the socks for the disabled conveniently by using the sock-wearing aid.

The at least one notch of the sock portion can increase the flexibility of the sock portion. When a tighter neck sock is put on the sock portion, the sock portion will shrink and deform, thereby facilitating the sock to be put on the sock structure.

In addition, when wearing socks, the base can be stabilized by hooking the movable hook of the auxiliary rod on the hooking part of the base, preventing the base from being moved or tilted due to the movement of the foot, so that the socks can be put on more easily. If the sock-wearing aid is to be stored, the coupling end of the auxiliary rod is inserted into the coupling groove of the base, and the movable hook will be pushed by the bottom of the coupling groove to move upward and retract back into the coupling end, so that the auxiliary rod can be firmly inserted into the base and will not be separated from the base at will, thereby avoiding scattering or loss, thereby improving the storage convenience of the sock-wearing aid.

Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 , which are a preferred embodiment of the novel sock-wearing aid. The sock-wearing aid includes a base 10 , a sock structure 20 and an auxiliary rod 30 .

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , a placement groove 11 and a hook portion 12 are formed at the rear end of the base 10 . The placement groove 11 is formed with a placement opening 111 at the top side of the base 10 , and the placement opening 111 is recessed downward.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the sock structure 20 can be detachably mounted on the base 10 . The sock structure 20 is sheet-shaped and concave and arc-shaped, and comprises a sock portion 21 and a guide portion 22 connected to each other. The sock portion 21 is formed with at least one notch 211 , and the guide portion 22 is inclined downward from the rear end to the front end.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the top of the auxiliary rod 30 has a shoe horn portion 31, and the bottom of the auxiliary rod 30 has a coupling end 32 and a movable hook 33. The movable hook 33 is movably disposed on the coupling end 32. When the coupling end 32 extends into the placement groove 11 of the base 10 through the placement opening 111, the movable hook 33 moves upward and retracts into the coupling end 32, so that the auxiliary rod 30 is coupled to the placement groove 11 of the base 10. When the coupling end 32 is separated from the placement groove 11, the movable hook 33 moves downward and protrudes from the coupling end 32, and the movable hook 33 can be used to hook on the hooking portion 12 of the base 10.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 6 , the coupling end 32 of the auxiliary rod 30 is formed with a combination opening 321 and at least one limiting rib 322. The combination opening 321 is T-shaped. The at least one limiting rib 322 is located on both sides of the combination opening 321 and extends from top to bottom. The movable hook 33 has a movable block 331. The movable block 331 extends into the combination opening 321 of the coupling end 32 and abuts against the at least one limiting rib 322. When the movable hook 33 moves up and down, the movable block 331 abuts against the at least one limiting rib 322 and moves up and down in the combination opening 321 to prevent the movable hook 33 from detaching from the coupling end 32 and to prevent the movable hook 33 from deviating relative to the coupling end 32.

Preferably, the number of the at least one limiting rib 322 is two, and the two limiting ribs 322 are respectively located on both sides of the assembly opening 321, and the assembly opening 321 is T-shaped. The movable block 331 abuts against the two limiting ribs 322, and the shape design of the assembly opening 321 can further improve the stability of the upward and downward movement of the movable hook 33.

As shown in Figures 5, 6 and 8, the hooking portion 12 of the base 10 is connected to the placement groove 11 and has a hook rod 121 and a hook opening 122. When the movable hook 33 is hooked on the hooking portion 12 of the base 10, the movable hook 33 passes through the placement opening 111 of the placement groove 11, extends out of the hook opening 122 and hooks on the hook rod 121.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 7 , the base 10 is formed with an assembly groove 13 inclined downward from the rear end to the front end, and the bottom of the sock structure 20 has an assembly block 23, and the assembly block 23 of the sock structure 20 can extend into the assembly groove 13 to assemble the sock structure 20 on the base 10.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 8 , when a person with limited mobility wants to wear a sock 40 using the sock-wearing aid, the auxiliary rod 30 is first removed from the base 10 , so that the sock 40 is positioned in the sock-covering structure 20 , and the neck of the sock 40 is reversely covered on the sock-covering portion 21 .

Among them, the at least one notch 211 of the sock portion 21 can increase the flexibility of the sock portion 21. When the sock 40 with a tighter neck is put on the sock portion 21, the sock portion 21 will shrink and deform, so it is convenient to put the sock 40 on the sock structure 20. Preferably, the number of the at least one notch 211 is two, and the two notches 211 are formed at intervals on the sock portion 21, so that the sock portion 21 is easier to deform to improve the convenience of the sock.

Furthermore, by cooperating the assembly block 23 of the sock structure 20 with the assembly groove 13 of the base 10, the sock structure 20 can be removed from the base 10, so it is more convenient to fit the socks 40. After the socks 40 are fitted, the sock structure 20 can be mounted back on the base 10.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 9 , when the movable hook 33 of the auxiliary rod 30 is facing downward, the combined end 32 of the auxiliary rod 30 will automatically extend due to gravity, and the movable hook 33 hooks the hook rod 121 of the hooking portion 12 of the base 10 to stabilize the base 10. The person with limited mobility inserts the foot 50 into the sock 40 and moves the foot 50 along the guide portion 22 of the sock structure 20. The socks 40 will be put on the feet 50 of the mobility-impaired person as the feet 50 move. Since the base 10 is fixed by the movable hook 33, the base 10 can be prevented from being moved or tilted due to the movement of the feet 50. Therefore, the mobility-impaired person can put on the socks 40 conveniently, and the caregiver can also put on the socks 40 for the mobility-impaired person conveniently by using the sock-wearing aid.

Furthermore, the shoe horn portion 31 of the auxiliary rod 30 can be used like a common shoe horn and pressed against the heel of a shoe, so as to facilitate people with limited mobility to wear overshoes and improve functionality.

In addition, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, if the sock-wearing aid is to be stored, the coupling end 32 of the auxiliary rod 30 is inserted into the coupling groove of the base 10, and the movable hook 33 will be pushed by the bottom of the coupling groove to move upward and retract back into the coupling end 32, so that the auxiliary rod 30 can be firmly inserted into the base 10 and will not be separated from the base 10 at will, thereby avoiding scattering or loss, thereby improving the storage convenience of the sock-wearing aid.

In summary, the novel sock-wearing aid can facilitate the disabled person to put on the socks 40. The socks 40 are put on the sock part 21 of the sock structure 20, and the movable hook 33 of the auxiliary rod 30 is hooked on the hook part 12 of the base 10 to stabilize the base 10. The disabled person moves the foot 50 along the guide part 22 of the sock structure 20. The socks 40 will be put on the feet 50, which improves the convenience of wearing the socks 40. In addition, the at least one notch 211 of the sock part 21 can increase the flexibility of the sock part 21, making it easier to put on the socks 40. When not in use, the auxiliary rod 30 can be stably inserted into the coupling groove of the base 10, which increases the convenience of storing the sock-wearing aid.

Claims (8)

A sock-wearing aid comprises: A base, a placement groove and a hook portion are formed at the rear end of the base, the placement groove forms a placement opening at the top side of the base, and the placement opening is recessed downward; A sock structure, which can be detachably mounted on the base, the sock structure is sheet-shaped and concave and arc-shaped, and comprises a sock portion and a guide portion connected to each other, the sock portion is formed with at least one notch, and the guide portion is inclined downward from the rear end to the front end; and An auxiliary rod, the top of which has a shoe horn portion, the bottom of which has a coupling end and a movable hook, the movable hook being arranged on the coupling end so as to be movable up and down, when the coupling end extends into the placement slot of the base through the placement opening, the movable hook moves upward and retracts into the coupling end, so that the auxiliary rod is coupled to the placement slot of the base, when the coupling end is separated from the placement slot, the movable hook moves downward and protrudes from the coupling end, and the movable hook can be used to hook on the hooking portion of the base. As described in claim 1, the sock-wearing aid is formed with a combination opening and at least one limiting rib at the combination end of the auxiliary rod, and the at least one limiting rib is located on both sides of the combination opening and extends from top to bottom, and the movable hook has a movable block, which extends into the combination opening of the combination end and abuts against the at least one limiting rib. A sock-wearing aid as described in claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one notch of the sock portion is two, and the two notches are formed in the sock portion at intervals. A sock-wearing aid as described in claim 1, wherein the hook portion of the base is connected to the placement slot and has a hook rod and a hook opening, and the movable hook passes through the placement opening of the placement slot and extends out of the hook opening to be hooked on the hook rod. A sock-wearing aid as described in claim 2, wherein the hook portion of the base is connected to the placement slot and has a hook rod and a hook opening, and the movable hook passes through the placement opening of the placement slot and extends out of the hook opening to be hooked on the hook rod. A sock-wearing aid as described in claim 2, wherein the number of the at least one limiting rib is two, and the two limiting ribs are respectively located on both sides of the assembly opening. A sock-wearing aid as described in claim 2, wherein the assembly opening is T-shaped. A sock-wearing aid as described in any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the base is formed with an assembly groove slanting downward from the rear end to the front end, and the bottom of the sock structure has an assembly block, and the assembly block of the sock structure can extend into the assembly groove to assemble the sock structure on the base.
