Abstract

The invention provides a modular shelf, comprising a plurality of shelf assemblies, a top plate, a plurality of legs and a plurality of foot pads. Each shelf assembly comprises a mutually coupled shelf and a plurality of connectors, each shelf having a plurality of coupling parts, each connector having a first end and a second end opposite to each other, the first end being coupled to one of the coupling parts. The top plate is connected to the second ends of the shelf assembly at the top layer. Each leg is connected to the first ends of the shelf assembly at the bottom layer.

Description

Modular shelves

This case relates to a shelf, and in particular to a modular shelf.

Some one-piece racks known to the author are difficult to transport or carry due to their large size. In order to facilitate transportation, storage or reduce costs, modular racks are currently available on the market. However, as far as the author knows, some modular racks are difficult to assemble and disassemble due to their complex components or the need for other tools.

Therefore, how to provide a storage rack that is convenient to assemble and disassemble is an important issue.

The invention provides a modular shelf, which comprises a plurality of shelf assemblies, a top plate, a plurality of legs and a plurality of foot pads, wherein the first ends of at least one shelf assembly are combined with the second ends of another shelf assembly, thereby combining the two shelf assemblies.

In some embodiments, the connecting members are in the shape of hollow columns, and the inner diameter of the first end of each connecting member is smaller than the inner diameter of the second end.

In some embodiments, the top plate has a plurality of through holes, each of which has an upper opening and a lower opening that are connected to each other.

In some embodiments, the modular shelf further comprises a plurality of covers, each having a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to each other, the fifth ends covering the upper openings, and the sixth ends penetrating the through holes to be combined with the second ends of the topmost shelf assembly.

In some embodiments, each of the third ends has a first hole; and the first ends of the bottommost shelf assembly are embedded in the first holes.

In some embodiments, the upper connection hole and the lower connection hole are non-circular.

In some embodiments, the foot pads are engaged with the fourth ends.

In some embodiments, the foot pads are threadedly engaged with the fourth ends.

In some embodiments, the first end of each of the connecting members further has a plurality of ribs.

In some embodiments of the present invention, another modular shelf is also provided, the modular shelf comprising a shelf assembly, a top plate, a plurality of covers, a plurality of legs, and a plurality of foot pads. The shelf assembly comprises a shelf and a plurality of connectors that are coupled to each other, the shelf having a plurality of coupling parts, each coupling part having an upper connecting hole and a lower connecting hole that are connected to each other, the connectors each having a first end and a second end that are opposite to each other, the first end being matched and coupled to one of the upper connecting holes. The top plate is connected to the second ends of the connectors, and has a plurality of through holes, each of the through holes having an upper opening and a lower opening that are connected to each other. The covers each have a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to each other, the fifth ends cover the upper openings, the sixth ends penetrate the through holes and are combined with the second ends. The legs each have a third end and a fourth end opposite to each other, the third ends are connected to the lower connection holes, and the foot pads are combined with the fourth ends.

In summary, the components of the modular shelf of the present invention can be combined with each other, so that the user can conveniently assemble or disassemble without the need for other tools. In some embodiments, the modular shelf includes a plurality of shelf assemblies, a top plate, a plurality of legs, a plurality of foot pads, and a plurality of covers. The shelf assemblies each include a shelf and a plurality of connectors that are combined with each other. Among them, the first ends of the connectors of at least one shelf assembly are combined with the second ends of the connectors of another shelf assembly, thereby combining the two shelf assemblies. In some embodiments, the foot pads are screwed with the legs, so that the user can rotate the foot pads to adjust the height of the modular shelf.

The following is a description of the implementation of the "combined layer" disclosed in the present invention with reference to the relevant drawings and specific embodiments, wherein the same elements will be described with the same reference symbols. A person skilled in the art can understand the problems and effects to be solved by the present invention from the contents disclosed in this specification.

It should be noted that the drawings in this case are only for simple illustration and are not drawn according to actual size. All directional terms (e.g., up, down, left, right, front, back, etc.) in the following embodiments are only used to explain the relative position relationship and/or movement of various components in a certain state. Without departing from the spirit of this case, the various details in this specification can also be applied based on different viewpoints. The following description is only for example and not for limitation. Any modification or change made to it without departing from the spirit and scope of this case shall be included in the scope of the patent application of this case.

FIG1 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a modular shelf according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG1 , the modular shelf 9 includes a plurality of shelf assemblies 1, a top plate 2, a plurality of legs 3, and a plurality of foot pads 4. The shelf assemblies 1 each include a layer 11 and a plurality of connectors 12 that are combined with each other. The respective layers 11 and the connectors 12 of the shelf assemblies 1 together form a layer of storage space S1, S2, S3 for placing items. As in the embodiment of FIG1 , the shelf assembly 1 has three layers of storage space S1, S2, S3. However, the present invention does not limit the number of shelf assemblies 1, that is, the present invention does not limit the number of layers of the modular shelf 9.

FIG. 1A is an enlarged schematic diagram of the middle section of the A portion in FIG. 1 , FIG. 1B is an enlarged schematic diagram of the middle section of the B portion in FIG. 1 , FIG. 1C is an enlarged schematic diagram of the middle section of the C portion in FIG. 1 , and FIG. 2 is an exploded schematic diagram of FIG. 1 . As shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 2 , each of the shelves 11 has a plurality of coupling portions 111 , and each of the coupling portions 111 has an upper connecting hole 112 and a lower connecting hole 113 that are connected to each other. Each of the connecting members 12 has a first end 121 and a second end 122 opposite to the first end 121 , and the first end 121 of each of the connecting members 12 matches and couples with one of the upper connecting holes 112 . Among them, the first ends 121 of at least one shelf assembly 1 are coupled with the second ends 122 of another shelf assembly 1 , thereby coupling the two shelf assemblies 1 . In this embodiment, the first end 121 of the connector 12 matches the upper connection hole 112 of the shelf 11, and the connector 12 is engaged in the upper connection hole 112 through its first end 121, thereby combining the shelf 11 and the connectors 12 of each shelf assembly 1, but the invention is not limited thereto.

As shown in Fig. 1B and Fig. 2, the top plate 2 is connected to the second ends 122 of the connectors 12 of the topmost shelf assembly 1. In some embodiments, the top plate 2 has a plurality of through holes 21, each of which has an upper opening 211 and a lower opening 212 connected to each other.

As shown in FIG. 1C and FIG. 2 , each of the legs 3 has a third end 31 and a fourth end 32 opposite to the third end 31. The third ends 31 of the legs 3 are connected to the lower connection holes 113 of the bottom shelf assembly 1. The foot pads 4 are combined with the fourth ends 32 of the legs 3. In this embodiment, each of the third ends 31 of the legs 3 has a first hole 311, and the first hole 311 matches the first end 121 of each of the connectors 12. The first ends 121 of the bottom shelf assembly 1 are engaged with the first holes 311 of the legs 3, thereby combining the bottom shelf assembly 1 with the legs 3.

Please refer to FIG. 1B and FIG. 2 again. In some embodiments, the modular shelf 9 further includes a plurality of covers 5. Each of the covers 5 has a fifth end 51 and a sixth end 52 opposite to the fifth end 51. The fifth ends 51 cover the upper openings 211 of the top plate 2, and the sixth ends 52 pass through the through holes 21 of the top plate 2 and are then combined with the second ends 122 of the topmost shelf assembly 1. In this embodiment, the sixth ends 52 of the covers 5 match the second ends 122 of the connectors 12, and the sixth ends 52 pass through the through holes 21 of the top plate 2 and are engaged with the second ends 122 of the topmost shelf assembly 1, thereby combining the covers 5, the top plate 2 and the topmost shelf assembly 1.

FIG3 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a modular shelf in an embodiment of the present invention from another angle, FIG4 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a shelf in an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG5 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a connector in an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG5, in some embodiments, the connectors 12 are in the shape of a hollow column, and the inner diameter of the first end 121 of each connector 12 is smaller than the inner diameter of the second end 122. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, in this embodiment, the first ends 121 of the shelf assembly 1 located on the upper layer penetrate the coupling portions 111 of its shelf 11 and are engaged with the second ends 122 of the shelf assembly 1 located on the adjacent lower layer, thereby coupling the upper and lower adjacent shelf assemblies 1.

In some embodiments, the upper and lower connecting holes 112 and 113 of the shelves 11 are rectangular, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, they may be other non-circular polygonal shapes, such as pentagons or more. On the other hand, the connecting member 12 is slightly hollow rectangular columnar, and the first end 121 is rectangular. The shape of the first end 121 matches the shape of the upper and lower connecting holes 112 and 113. When the connecting members 12 are combined with the shelves 11, the connecting members 12 and the shelves 11 will not rotate relative to each other. In addition, when the first ends 121 of the upper shelf assembly 1[1] are engaged with the second ends 122 of the adjacent lower shelf assembly 1[2], the upper and lower adjacent shelf assemblies 1[1] and 1[2] (as shown in FIG. 3 ) will not rotate relative to each other.

Please refer to Figures 3 and 5 again. In some embodiments, the first end 121 of each of the connecting members 12 further has a plurality of ribs 123. The ribs 123 can increase the fit density between the first ends 121 of the upper shelf assembly 1[1] and the second ends 122 of the adjacent lower shelf assembly 1[2].

FIG6 is a schematic diagram of the connection between the foot pad and the support leg in an embodiment of the present case. As shown in FIG6, in some embodiments, the foot pads 4 are engaged with the fourth ends 32 of the support legs 3. In some embodiments, the foot pads 4 are screwed with the fourth ends 32 of the support legs 3. In this embodiment, the fourth ends 32 of the support legs 3 have a second hole 321, the second hole 321 is provided with an inner thread, and the foot pads 4 are provided with an outer thread matching the inner thread, and the foot pads 4 are engaged with the second holes 321, and the two are screwed with each other. By providing the inner and outer threads, the user can rotate the foot pad 4 to adjust the height of the modular shelf 9.

FIG7 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a modular shelf in an embodiment of the present invention. The shelf 11' of the modular shelf 9' in the embodiment of FIG7 is roughly triangular, while the shelf 11 of the modular shelf 9 in the embodiments of FIG1 to FIG6 is rectangular. In other words, in different embodiments, the shelf can be in different shapes, and the present invention does not limit the shape of the shelf.

FIG8 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a modular shelf in an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG8 , the present invention also provides a modular shelf 9”, which includes a shelf assembly 1”, a top plate 2”, a plurality of covers 5”, a plurality of legs 3”, and a plurality of foot pads 4”. The shelf assembly 1" includes a mutually coupled layer 11" and a plurality of connectors 12", the layer has a plurality of coupling parts, each of which has an upper connecting hole and a lower connecting hole connected to each other, and each of the connectors has a first end and a second end opposite to each other, and the first end matches and couples with one of the upper connecting holes. The top plate is connected to the second ends of the connectors and has a plurality of through holes, each of which has an upper opening and a lower opening connected to each other. The covers each have a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to each other, the fifth ends cover the upper openings, and the sixth ends penetrate the through holes and couple with the second ends. The legs each have a third end and a fourth end opposite to each other, and the third ends are connected to the lower connecting holes. The foot pads are coupled with the fourth ends.

Compared to the modular shelf 9 having a plurality of shelf assemblies 1 (such as the modular shelf 9 in FIGS. 1 to 6 having three shelf assemblies 1), the modular shelf 9" in the embodiment of FIG. 8 has one shelf assembly 1", that is, the modular shelf 9" has one layer of accommodation space S1.

In summary, the components of the modular shelf of the present invention can be combined with each other, and the user can conveniently assemble or disassemble it without the help of other tools. In some embodiments, the modular shelf includes a plurality of shelf assemblies, a top plate, a plurality of legs, a plurality of foot pads, and a plurality of covers. The shelf assemblies each include a shelf and a plurality of connectors that are combined with each other. Among them, the first ends of the connectors of at least one shelf assembly are combined with the second ends of the connectors of another shelf assembly, thereby combining the two shelf assemblies. In some embodiments, the foot pads are screwed with the legs, so that the user can rotate the foot pads to adjust the height of the modular shelf.

Claims (10)

A modular shelf comprises: A plurality of shelf assemblies, each comprising a mutually coupled shelf and a plurality of connectors, wherein each shelf has a plurality of coupling parts, each coupling part has an upper connecting hole and a lower connecting hole connected to each other, each connector has a first end and a second end opposite to each other, and the first end matches and couples with one of the upper connecting holes; A top plate connected to the second ends of the shelf assembly at the top layer; A plurality of legs, each having a third end and a fourth end opposite to each other, and the third ends are connected to the lower connecting holes of the shelf assembly at the bottom layer; and A plurality of foot pads coupled to the fourth ends; Among them, the first ends of at least one of the shelf assemblies are combined with the second ends of another shelf assembly, thereby combining the two shelf assemblies. As described in claim 1, the modular shelf, wherein the connecting parts are in the shape of hollow columns, and the inner diameter of the first end of each connecting part is smaller than the inner diameter of the second end. A modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein the top plate has a plurality of through holes, each of the through holes having an upper opening and a lower opening that are connected to each other. The modular shelf as described in claim 3 further includes a plurality of covers, each having a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to each other, the fifth ends covering the upper openings, and the sixth ends penetrating the through holes to be combined with the second ends of the topmost shelf assembly. The modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein each of the third ends has a first hole; and the first ends of the shelf assembly at the bottom layer are embedded in the first holes. The modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein the upper connecting hole and the lower connecting hole are non-circular. A modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein the foot pads are engaged with the fourth ends. A modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein the foot pads are screwed into the fourth ends. A modular shelf as described in claim 1, wherein the first end of each connecting member further has a plurality of ribs. A modular shelf, comprising: A shelf assembly, comprising a mutually coupled shelf and a plurality of connectors, the shelf having a plurality of coupling parts, each of the coupling parts having an upper connecting hole and a lower connecting hole connected to each other, the connector having a first end and a second end opposite to each other, the first end matching and coupling with one of the upper connecting holes; A top plate connected to the second ends, having a plurality of through holes, each of the through holes having an upper opening and a lower opening connected to each other; A plurality of covers, each having a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to each other, the fifth ends covering the upper openings, the sixth ends penetrating the through holes, and then coupling with the second ends; A plurality of legs, each having a third end and a fourth end opposite to each other, the third ends being connected to the lower connecting holes; and A plurality of foot pads coupled to the fourth ends.
