Abstract

A combined bed frame assembly includes a first bed frame, a second bed frame, and a plurality of connecting rods. The first bed frame includes a first frame body and a plurality of first bed legs connected to the first frame body, each of the first bed legs having a first bottom surface that is inwardly recessed to form a first lower receiving hole. The second bed frame includes a second frame body and a plurality of second bed legs connected to the second frame body, each of the second bed legs having a second top surface that is inwardly recessed to form a second upper receiving hole. The connecting rods correspond to the first bed legs and the second bed legs, respectively, each of the connecting rods includes a rod body and two fixing columns disposed on the rod body, the rod body having a non-planar first end surface and a second end surface, and can be engaged with the corresponding first bottom surface of the first bed leg and the corresponding second top surface of the second bed leg. In addition, the fixing columns are respectively inserted into the first lower receiving hole of the corresponding first bed leg and the second upper receiving hole of the corresponding second bed leg, thereby improving the stability after joining and achieving a safe and stable effect.

Description

Modular bed frame set

The invention relates to a combined bed frame set, in particular to a combined bed frame which is easy to disassemble and assemble.

Due to limited home space and the desire for children to develop affection, many families choose to purchase bunk beds, which can provide double the space in the same floor space. In addition, there are bunk beds with different designs or multi-functional storage space on the market, which can also be customized according to the style you want, so that indoor space can be effectively utilized while also having both comfort and aesthetic design.

However, most bunk beds are difficult to separate into two separate single beds. When the children grow up and need to have separate rooms, they need to purchase a suitable bed frame. Therefore, there is still room for improvement in extending the use value of the furniture.

In addition, the height difference between most bunk beds cannot be changed, which will cause inconvenience to users to a certain extent. For example, if the size of the bunk bed is not designed well at the beginning, the bunk bed will be too close to the ceiling and the user of the upper bunk will easily hit his head; the height space of the lower bunk is fixed and cannot be flexibly adjusted according to the height of the user.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a combined bed frame set which can be freely disassembled into two independent single beds and the height difference between the upper and lower bunks can be easily adjusted.

Therefore, the novel combined bed frame set includes a first bed frame, a second bed frame, and a plurality of connecting rods.

The first bed frame includes a first frame body and a plurality of first bed legs connected to the first frame body. Each of the first bed legs has a first bottom surface, and the first bottom surface is inwardly recessed to form a first lower receiving hole.

The second bed frame includes a second frame body and a plurality of second bed legs connected to the second frame body. Each of the second bed legs has a second top surface, and the second top surface is inwardly recessed to form a second upper receiving hole.

The connecting rods correspond to the first bed legs and the second bed legs respectively. Each of the connecting rods includes a rod body and two fixing columns arranged on the rod body. The rod body has a first end face and a second end face, and can be engaged with the first bottom face of the corresponding first bed leg and the second top face of the corresponding second bed leg. The fixing columns protrude from the first end face and the second end face respectively, and can be inserted into the first lower receiving hole of the corresponding first bed leg and the second upper receiving hole of the corresponding second bed leg respectively.

The effect of the present invention is that the first end surface and the second end surface of the rod body are respectively connected with the first bottom surface of the first bed leg and the second top surface of the second bed leg, and the connecting rods can be respectively inserted into the corresponding first lower receiving hole and the corresponding second upper receiving hole, thereby improving the stability after connection and having a safe and stable effect.

1 and 2 , an embodiment of the novel combined bed frame assembly comprises a first bed frame 1 , a second bed frame 2 , a plurality of connecting rods 3 , a staircase 4 , a left safety barrier 5 , and a right safety barrier 6 .

Referring to Fig. 2, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the first bed frame 1 includes a first frame body 11 and a plurality of first bed legs 12 connected to the first frame body 11. Each first bed leg 12 has a first bottom surface 121 and a first top surface 122. The first bottom surface 121 and the first top surface 122 are arc-shaped and protrude outward, and are respectively recessed inward to form a first lower receiving hole 123 and a first upper receiving hole 124. In this embodiment, the number of the first bed legs 12 is 4. For a clearer explanation, the first bed legs 12 are respectively used as two first bed head side bed legs 13 and two first bed foot side bed legs 14.

The first main body 11 includes a first headboard 111 connected to the first headside legs 13 and extending along a first direction x, a first footboard 112 connected to the first footside legs 14 and extending along the first direction x and arranged with the first headboard 111 along a second direction y perpendicular to the first direction x, a first left sideboard 113 connected to one of the first headside legs 13 and one of the first footside legs 14 and extending along the second direction y, and a first right sideboard 114 connected to another of the first headside legs 13 and another of the first footside legs 14 and extending along the second direction y and arranged with the first left sideboard 113 along the first direction x.

Each first bedside leg 13 has a first bedside slot 15, and each first bedside leg 14 has a first bedside slot 16. The first left side board 113 includes a first left side board body 113a and two first left side hooks 113b respectively disposed at two ends of the first left side board body 113a, and the first left side hooks 113b are respectively used to clamp the first bedside slot 15 of the corresponding first bedside leg 13 and the first bedside slot 16 of the corresponding first bedside leg 14. The first right side plate 114 includes a first right side plate body 114a and two first right side hooks 114b respectively arranged at two ends of the first right side plate body 114a, and the first right side hooks 114b are respectively used to clamp the first head side slot 15 of the corresponding first head side foot 13 and the first foot side slot 16 of the corresponding first foot side foot 14.

The first frame body 11 further includes a first head side support member 115 connected to the inner side of the first headboard 111 and extending along the first direction x, a first foot side support member 116 connected to the inner side of the first footboard 112 and extending along the first direction x, a first left side support member 117 connected to the inner side of the first left side board 113 and extending along the second direction y, and two first side supports 118 extending along the first direction x and arranged at intervals along the second direction y and connected to the first bed. A left side support member 117 and a first reinforcement member 119 of the first right side support member 118, a first right side support member 118 connected to the inner side of the first right side board 114 and extending along the second direction y, and a first bed board 119a arranged on the first head side support member 115, the first foot side support member 116, the first left side support member 117, the first right side support member 118 and the first reinforcement members 119 for the user to lie down.

Referring to Fig. 2, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the second bed frame 2 includes a second frame body 21 and a plurality of second bed legs 22 connected to the second frame body 21. Each second bed leg 22 has a second bottom surface 221 and a second top surface 222. The second bottom surface 221 and the second top surface 222 are arc-shaped and convex outward, and are respectively concave inward to form a second lower receiving hole 223 and a second upper receiving hole 224. In this embodiment, the number of the second bed legs 22 is 4. For a clearer explanation, the second bed legs 22 are respectively used as two second bed head side bed legs 23 and two second bed foot side bed legs 24.

The second frame body 21 includes a second headboard 211 connected to the second headside legs 23 and extending along the first direction x, a second footboard 212 connected to the second footside legs 24 and extending along the first direction x and arranged with the second headboard 211 along the second direction y, a second left side board 213 connected to one of the second headside legs 23 and one of the second footside legs 24 and extending along the second direction y, and a second right side board 214 connected to another second headside leg 23 and another second footside leg 24 and extending along the second direction y and arranged with the second left side board 213 along the first direction x.

Each second bedside foot 23 has a second bedside slot 25, each second bedside foot 24 has a second bedside slot 26, the second left side board 213 includes a second left side board 213a and two second left side hooks 213b respectively arranged at two ends of the second left side board 213a, the second left side hooks 213b are respectively used to clamp the second bedside slot 25 of the corresponding second bedside foot 23 and the corresponding second bedside slot 26. The second right side board 214 includes a second right side board body 214a and two second right side hooks 214b respectively arranged at two ends of the second right side board body 214a, and the second right side hooks 214b are respectively used for clamping the second head side slot 25 of the corresponding second head side foot 23 and the second foot side slot 26 of the corresponding second foot side foot 24.

The second frame body 21 further includes a second head side support member 215 connected to the inner side of the second headboard 211 and extending along the first direction x, a second foot side support member 216 connected to the inner side of the second footboard 212 and extending along the first direction x, a second left side support member 217 connected to the inner side of the second left side board 213 and extending along the second direction y, and a second right side support member 218 connected to the inner side of the second right side board 214 and extending along the second direction y. The second right side support member 218, two second reinforcement members 219 extending along the first direction x and arranged at intervals along the second direction y and connecting the second left side support member 217 and the second right side support member 218, and four second bed boards 219a arranged on the second head side support member 215, the second foot side support member 216, the second left side support member 217, the second right side support member 218 and the second reinforcement members 219 for the user to lie down.

Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , the number of the connecting rods 3 is 4, and they correspond to the first bed legs 12 and the second bed legs 22, respectively. Each of the connecting rods 3 includes a rod body 31 and two fixing posts 32 disposed on the rod body 31. The rod body 31 has a first end surface 311 and a second end surface 312. The fixing posts 32 protrude from the first end surface 311 and the second end surface 312, respectively, and can be inserted into the first lower receiving hole 123 of the corresponding first bed leg 12 and the second upper receiving hole 224 of the corresponding second bed leg 22, respectively.

In actual use, the user can select the connecting rods 3 of appropriate length according to the height requirement of the first bed frame 1. For example, if the height of the first bed frame 1 is required to be higher, the connecting rods 3 of longer length can be selected to be installed between the first bed frame 1 and the second bed frame 2; if the height of the first bed frame 1 is required to be lower, the connecting rods 3 of shorter length can be selected to be installed between the first bed frame 1 and the second bed frame 2. In addition, the design of the connecting rods 3 with adjustable lengths (not shown) can also be adopted, so that the user can flexibly adjust the height of the combined bed frame set.

In this embodiment, the first end surface 311 and the second end surface 312 of the rod body 31 are in an inwardly concave arc shape, and can be joined with the first top surface 122 and the first bottom surface 121 of the corresponding first bed leg 12 and the second top surface 222 and the second bottom surface 221 of the corresponding second bed leg 22, so that the rod body 31 can stably receive the first bed frame 1 and the second bed frame 2. By joining the first end surface 311 and the second end surface 312 of the rod body 31, the first bottom surface 121 and the first top surface 122 of the first bed leg 12, and the second bottom surface 221 and the second top surface 222 of the second bed leg 22 in a non-planar structure, the stability after joining can be improved. In addition, the aforementioned non-planar structure is not limited to an arc shape. For example, the first end surface 311 and the second end surface 312 may also be non-planar structures such as an inwardly concave V-shape, and the corresponding first bottom surface 121 and the first top surface 122 of the first bed leg 12 and the corresponding second bottom surface 221 and the second top surface 222 of the second bed leg 22 are outwardly protruding V-shaped structures.

In this embodiment, the fixing posts 32 of each connecting rod 3 can also be inserted into the first upper receiving hole 124 of the corresponding first bed leg 12 and the second lower receiving hole 223 of the corresponding second bed leg 22. In this way, the positions of the first bed frame 1 and the second bed frame 2 can be interchanged up and down, increasing the freedom of assembly for the user. In another embodiment, the user can use the first bed frame 1 or the second bed frame 2 alone.

The left safety shield 5 extends along the second direction y and can be disposed on the first left side plate 113 or the second left side plate 213. The right safety shield 6 extends along the second direction y and can be disposed on the first right side plate 114 or the second right side plate 214.

An entrance 7 for the staircase 4 is formed between the left safety shield 5 and one of the adjacent first footrests 14 or one of the adjacent second footrests 24.

During assembly, one of the fixing columns 32 of each connecting rod 3 is inserted and fixed in the second upper receiving hole 224 of the second bed leg 22, and after confirming that the second end surface 312 is completely engaged with the second top surface 222 of the second bed leg 22, the first lower receiving hole 123 of each first bed leg 12 is aligned with the corresponding fixing column 32 and inserted and fixed, and it is also confirmed that the first end surface 311 is completely engaged with the first bottom surface 121 of the first bed leg 12. After installation, the first left side hooks 113b are respectively engaged with the corresponding first headboard slots 15 and the corresponding first footboard slots 16, and the first right side hooks 114b are respectively engaged with the corresponding first headboard slots 15 and the corresponding first footboard slots 16 in the same way. The first reinforcement members 119 are embedded and fixed on the first left side support member 117 and the first right side support member 118, and then the first bed boards 119a are arranged on the first head side support member 115, the first foot side support member 116, the first left side support member 117, the first right side support member 118 and the first reinforcement members 119. In addition, according to the needs of the user, the left side safety shield 5 can be arranged on the first left side board 113 or the second left side board 213, and the right side safety shield 6 can be arranged on the first right side board 114 or the second right side board 214. If the staircase 4 is to be used, the two first slots 41 of the staircase 4 can be engaged with the first left side board 113, and the two second slots 42 of the staircase 4 can be engaged with the second left side board 213. In actual use, the user can choose to use the connecting rods 3 of different lengths according to his or her height to adjust the height difference between the upper and lower bunks.

In summary, the novel combined bed frame assembly can improve the stability after the connection by connecting the first end surface 311 and the second end surface 312 of the rod body 31, the first bottom surface 121 and the first top surface 122 of the first bed legs 12, and the second bottom surface 221 and the second top surface 222 of the second bed legs 22 in a non-planar structure; furthermore, the connecting rods 3 can be respectively inserted into the corresponding first lower receiving hole 123 of the first bed leg 12 and the corresponding second upper receiving hole 224 of the second bed leg 22, so that the user can adjust the bed frame according to his/her own needs. According to the height requirement of the first bed frame 1, the connecting rods 3 of appropriate length are selected, and even the connecting rods 3 with adjustable length design (not shown) are adopted, so that the user can flexibly adjust the height of the combined bed frame set; in addition, the fixing columns 32 of each connecting rod 3 can also be respectively inserted into the corresponding first upper receiving hole 124 of the first bed leg 12 and the corresponding second lower receiving hole 223 of the second bed leg 22, so that the positions of the first bed frame 1 and the second bed frame 2 can be interchanged up and down, thereby increasing the user's freedom of assembly, and thus the purpose of the present invention can be achieved.

However, the above is only an example of the implementation of the present invention, and it cannot be used to limit the scope of the implementation of the present invention. All simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the scope of the patent application of the present invention and the content of the patent specification are still within the scope of the present patent.

Claims (9)

A combined bed frame assembly includes: A first bed frame, including a first frame body and a plurality of first bed legs connected to the first frame body, each of the first bed legs having a first bottom surface, the first bottom surface being recessed inwardly to form a first lower receiving hole; A second bed frame, including a second frame body, and a plurality of second bed legs connected to the second frame body, each of the second bed legs having a second top surface, the second top surface being recessed inwardly to form a second upper receiving hole; and A plurality of connecting rods, corresponding to the first bed legs and the second bed legs respectively, each connecting rod comprises a rod body and two fixing columns arranged on the rod body, the rod body has a first end face and a second end face, the first end face and the second end face are non-planar and can be connected with the first bottom face of the corresponding first bed leg and the second top face of the corresponding second bed leg, the fixing columns protrude from the first end face and the second end face respectively, and can be inserted into the first lower receiving hole of the corresponding first bed leg and the second upper receiving hole of the corresponding second bed leg respectively. A combined bed frame assembly as described in claim 1, wherein each first bed leg also has a first top surface, which is recessed inwardly to form a first upper receiving hole, and each second bed leg also has a second bottom surface, which is recessed inwardly to form a second lower receiving hole, and the first end surface and the second end surface of each connecting rod can also be engaged with the corresponding second bottom surface of the second bed leg and the corresponding first top surface of the first bed leg, and the fixing columns of each connecting rod can also be respectively inserted into the corresponding first upper receiving hole of the first bed leg and the corresponding second lower receiving hole of the second bed leg. A combined bed frame set as described in claim 2, wherein the first end surface and the second end surface of the rod body are in an inwardly concave arc shape, and the first top surface and the first bottom surface of the first bed legs and the second top surface and the second bottom surface of the second bed legs are in an outwardly convex arc shape. A combined bed frame set as described in claim 1, wherein the first bed legs serve as two first headside bed legs and two first footside bed legs respectively, and the first frame body includes a first headboard connected to the first headside bed legs and extending along a first direction, a first footboard connected to the first footside bed legs and extending along the first direction and spaced apart from the first headboard along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a first left side board connected to one of the first headside bed legs and one of the first footside bed legs and extending along the second direction, and a first right side board connected to another of the first headside bed legs and another of the first footside bed legs and extending along the second direction and spaced apart from the first left side board along the first direction. The combined bed frame set as described in claim 4, wherein the first frame body further includes a first head side support member connected to the inner side of the first headboard and extending along the first direction, a first foot side support member connected to the inner side of the first footboard and extending along the first direction, a first left side support member connected to the inner side of the first left sideboard and extending along the second direction, and a first right side support member connected to the inner side of the first headboard and extending along the first direction. A first right side support member is provided on the inner side of the side board and extends along the second direction, two first reinforcement members extend along the first direction and are arranged at intervals along the second direction and connect the first left side support member and the first right side support member, and a first bed board is arranged on the first head side support member, the first foot side support member, the first left side support member, the first right side support member and the first reinforcement members. A combined bed frame set as described in claim 5, wherein the second bed legs serve as two second headside bed legs and two second footside bed legs respectively, and the second frame body includes a second headboard connected to the second headside bed legs and extending along the first direction, a second footboard connected to the second footside bed legs and extending along the first direction and spaced apart from the second headboard along the second direction, a second left side board connected to one of the second headside bed legs and one of the second footside bed legs and extending along the second direction, and a second right side board connected to another second headside bed leg and another second footside bed leg and extending along the second direction and spaced apart from the second left side board along the first direction. The combined bed frame set as described in claim 6, wherein the second frame body further includes a second head side support member connected to the inner side of the second headboard and extending along the first direction, a second foot side support member connected to the inner side of the second footboard and extending along the first direction, a second left side support member connected to the inner side of the second left sideboard and extending along the second direction, and a second right side support member connected to the inner side of the second headboard and extending along the first direction. A second right side support member on the inner side of the side board and extending along the second direction, two second reinforcement members extending along the first direction and arranged at intervals along the second direction and connecting the second left side support member and the second right side support member, and a second bed board arranged on the second head side support member, the second foot side support member, the second left side support member, the second right side support member and the second reinforcement members. The combined bed frame assembly as described in claim 7 also includes a ladder detachably connected to the first left side board and the second left side board. The combined bed frame assembly as described in claim 8 also includes a left-side safety barrier that can be set on the first left side board or the second left side board and extends along the second direction, and a right-side safety barrier that can be set on the first right side board or the second right side board and extends along the second direction, and an entrance and exit for the staircase to be set up is formed between the left-side safety barrier and one of the adjacent first bed footrests or one of the adjacent second bed footrests.
