101。 According to some embodiments, cover assembly 104 does not require 101 is completely removed or separated to expose the interior space of the base frame. That is, the cover assembly 104 can be opened to expose the inner space of the base frame 101 by sliding the plurality of cover sections 114 a , 114 b , 114 c , 114 d upward or downward. Accordingly, the cover assembly 104 remains coupled to the base frame 101 even when the cover assembly is in an open state.

Although the number of cover sections is illustrated as four in various illustrations, the number of cover sections is not limited to four. As shown in FIG. 4A, the second outer raised upper ridge 125b is movable between the first inner raised upper ridge 124a and the first inner lower raised ridge 126a. In some embodiments, the surfaces of the first inner lower raised ridge 126a and the second outer raised upper ridge 125b are flat. The design of the cover assembly 104 protects electronic components (eg, a telecommunications device) stored in the base frame 101 from rain and/or dirt that may cause corrosion and rust. Referring to FIG. 4B, in some embodiments, the cover assembly 104 further includes a waterproof element 108 positioned on a surface of the first inner raised lower ridge 126a or a surface of the second outer raised upper ridge 125b, so that the waterproof element 108 is positioned between the first inner raised lower ridge 126a of the first cover section 114a and the second outer raised upper ridge 125b of the second cover section 114b. In some embodiments, a plurality of waterproof elements 108 are provided, and each waterproof element 108 is positioned between two adjacent cover sections in the plurality of cover sections 114a, 114b, 114c, 114d. In addition, when the lid assembly 104 is in the closed state, the waterproof elements 108 each contact two adjacent lid sections, thereby providing a tighter seal against external elements such as rain and dust.

For example, the waterproof element 108 includes an O-ring, a gasket, or a glue material. Adding a waterproof element 108 to the cover assembly 104 can more effectively protect the base frame 101 from harsh weather conditions.

Referring to Figure 2B, Figure 2C, Figure 5B, and Figure 5C, the open state of the cover assembly 104 includes a first open state (Figure 2B and Figure 5B) and a second open state (Figure 2C and Figure 5B). Figure 5C). Based on a different open state, The cover assembly 104 exposes a different portion of the hollow interior space within the base frame 101 . For example, in the first open state, only a part of the hollow interior space is exposed, as shown in Fig. 2B, while in the second open state, different parts of the entire hollow interior space are exposed according to the viewpoint, as shown in Fig. 2C. That is, the cover assembly 104 in the folded configuration may be positioned near the top portion of the base frame 101, as shown in FIG. 2B, or may be positioned near the bottom portion of the base frame 101, as shown in FIG. 2C. The first or second open state may be selected based on a position of an electronic component within the base frame 101 to allow easy access to the electronic component.

Referring to FIG. 5A and FIG. 5B , the smart pole assembly 100 further includes a top fastener 105 configured to fasten the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 . For example, the top fastener 105 penetrates a portion of the first cover section 114a having the largest circumference to secure the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 . In some embodiments, the top fastener 105 penetrates a portion of the first outer raised ridge 125a and is inserted into the top portion of the base frame 101, as shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B. It should be noted that the top fastener 105 secures the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 when the cover assembly 104 is in the closed state (FIG. 5A) or in the first open state (FIG. 5B). Note also that the top fastener 105 is released from the lid assembly 104 and the base frame 101 to place the lid assembly 104 in the second open state, as shown in Figure 5C. For example, top fastener 105 includes a screw or pin.

Referring to FIG. 5A and FIG. 5C , the smart pole assembly 100 further includes a bottom fastener 106 configured to fasten the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 . For example, the bottom fastener 106 penetrates a portion of the fourth cover section 114d having the smallest circumference to secure the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 . For example, referring to Figure 5B, the The fourth upper flange 122d of the four cover section 114d includes a fourth inner protruding upper ridge 124d and a fourth outer protruding upper ridge 125d. In addition, the fourth lower flange 126d of the fourth cover section 114d includes a fourth inner raised lower ridge 126d and a fourth outer raised lower ridge 127d. In some embodiments, the bottom fastener 106 penetrates a portion of the fourth outer raised lower ridge 127d and is inserted into the bottom portion of the base frame 101, as shown in FIGS. 5A and 5C. Note that the fourth outer raised lower ridge 127d is not shown in Figures 3A and 3B, which show the fourth cover section 114d. In some embodiments, the fourth cover section 114d does not have the fourth outer raised lower ridge 127d, as shown in Figures 3A and 3B. In this case, as shown in FIG. 3B , the cover assembly 104 is held closed by the gravity of the cover assembly 104 even though no fasteners are required to secure the cover assembly 104 to the bottom portion of the base frame 101 . In this case, the cover assembly 104 can be opened without the need to release the fasteners. That is, there is no locking mechanism for the lid assembly 104 illustrated in FIGS. 3A and 3B. In some embodiments, the lower flanges 126a, 126b, 126c of the first, second, and third cover sections 114a, 114b, 114c do not have an outer protruding lower ridge, as shown in FIGS. 5A-5C .

104。 However, in some embodiments, a locking mechanism is provided to protect the smart pole assembly 100 from unauthorized access. For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 5A and 5B , the bottom fastener 106 secures the cover assembly 104 to the base frame 101 when the cover assembly 104 is in a closed state (FIG. 5A) or a second open state (FIG. 5C). Note also that the bottom fastener 106 is released from the lid assembly 104 and the base frame 101 to place the lid assembly 104 in the first open state, as shown in Figure 5B. For example, bottom fastener 106 includes a screw or pin. Thus, depending on the first or second open state, the top fastener 105 and One of the bottom fasteners 106 needs to be released or unlocked to open the lid assembly 104 .

104。 Referring to FIGS. 5A to 5C , the smart pole assembly 100 further includes a side fastener 107 configured to fasten the cover assembly 104 in an open state. Specifically, the side fasteners 107 need to engage the lid assembly 104 in the first open state to prevent the folded lid assembly 104 from being extended closed, as shown in FIG. 5B. For example, side fastener 107 is a screw, pin, or latch that, when engaged with lid assembly 104, prevents lid assembly 104 from closing. For example, the side fastener 107 is provided at a portion of the base frame 101 and is configured to be pushed in to engage the cover assembly 104 or pulled out to disengage the cover assembly 104 .
