Description

Partition and equipment for carrying computer components

This disclosure generally relates to a system and method for constructing a shell of a computer component. More specifically, the type of this disclosure relates to the design of a partition and a frame forming a scaffold to support storage drives of different sizes of servers.

Computer systems (such as desktop computers, blade servers, rack-mounted servers, etc.) are widely used in a variety of applications. Generally, a computer server is designed to accommodate several components of the same type, for example: several processors, several memory modules, several hard disks, several fans, and so on. Since several components of the same type can be installed in a computer server, the designer of a computer server usually arranges the above components systematically in a blade server or a rack-mount server. )Inside. Therefore, the memory modules in the blade server are all in the same position, the hard disks used in the server are all in the same position, and the processors are all in the same position. This system setup has the advantage of providing an intuitive layout for knife-type servers or rack-type servers.

When considering the layout of the server, separate processor modules and memory The module occupies a smaller volume than an independent hard disk. Therefore, the architecture of the server is affected by technologies that reduce the cross-sectional area and/or volume of the hard disk. For example, a 3.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) has a larger length, a larger height, and a larger width than a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. The form factor of the 2.5-inch hard disk drive is newer than that of the 3.5-inch hard disk drive. There are other larger specifications, but they have been eliminated in the current hard disk drive market.

The designer of the server may want to accommodate as many hard disk drives as possible in the server. The 2.5-inch hard disk drive has a size advantage compared to the 3.5-inch hard disk drive, and a larger number of 2.5-inch hard disk drives can be allowed to be integrated into the server. On the other hand, the 3.5-inch hard disk drive has the advantage of capacity, and can store almost twice the information of the 2.5-inch hard disk drive. This advantage of the 3.5-inch hard disk drive makes it feasible in an era when miniaturization is a trend.

Novel storage specifications and dimensions are still under development. For example, a solid state drive (SSD) or a hybrid drive (hybrid drive) can be packaged into a 2.5-inch hard disk drive size. The solid-state disk or hybrid drive can be packaged into a smaller size (for example: Ruler SSD), or the solid-state disk can be directly installed in the expansion slot of the server without the package (for example: M .2 slots). When a new specification size appears, the design and manufacturing process of the server may be changed to adapt to the new specification size. The new size may allow for a higher degree of integration of the hard disk, thereby limiting the space previously available for mounting the bolts or fasteners in the frame that accommodates the hard disk. Therefore, this disclosure aims to solve the problem of assembling the frame for a server that uses a smaller size hard disk.

Representative embodiments are presented in diagrams and will be described in detail herein. The present disclosure is an example or description of the principles of the disclosure, and it is not intended to limit the broad aspects of the disclosure to the embodiments described herein. To this extent, elements and limitations that are disclosed in, for example, the abstract, new content, and specification, but are not explicitly stated in the scope of the patent application, should not be included in the scope of the patent application individually or collectively by suggestion, inference, etc. in. For the purposes of this specification, unless specifically excluded, the singular form includes the plural form, and vice versa. The word "include" means "including but not limited to." In addition, similar words such as "about", "almost", "substantially", "approximately", etc., here can mean for example: "在(at)" , "Near", or "near at", or "within 3 to 5 percent", or "within acceptable manufacturing tolerances" or any reasonable combination of the above.

The most common server architecture is with a 3.5-inch hard disk drive, a 2.5-inch hard disk drive, or a combination of a 3.5-inch hard disk drive and a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. Recently, newly released hard disk drives have different specifications and sizes from common 3.5-inch hard disk drives or 2.5-inch hard disk drives. An example hard disk drive with different specifications and dimensions from a common 3.5-inch hard disk drive or 2.5-inch hard disk drive is a "Ruler" solid state drive (SSD). The solid-state disk of the ruler has a smaller width than a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. Although the solid-state disk of the ruler has a smaller width, the storage capacity of the solid-state disk of the ruler can be larger than that of a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. Therefore, a solid state disk with a smaller size can significantly increase the total storage capacity of the server. Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a framework for carrying calculations Several storage drives of a machine device (such as a server). Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of assembling a frame to carry several storage drives of a computer device. Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a partition design for carrying the frame of the storage drive machine. The partition design according to some embodiments can improve the structural strength and the stability of the equipment carrying the storage driver. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the frame used to carry the storage driver reduces the risk of malfunctions caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) to the storage driver. Reducing electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge can be achieved by restricting the movement of each storage driver by the bilateral partitions of the frame. The above-mentioned partition may include electromagnetic interference springs (EMI springs) fixed in the groove of the partition to reduce electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a conventional server 100 including storage drives 108-1, 108-2, 108-3, etc. of standard specifications. The above-mentioned standard size is the size of a 2.5-inch hard disk drive or the size of a 3.5-inch hard disk drive. The server 100 includes a server housing 102, a control panel 106 including one or more buttons, and one or more ports 104. The hard disks 108-1, 108-2, 108-3, etc. are separated by partitions 110-1, 110-2, 110-3, etc.

Please refer to Fig. 2 to provide a front view of the server 100 in Fig. 1. Each storage driver and each partition of the server 100 has a defined height and width. For example, the storage driver 108-1 has a height 108h and a width 108w. The height of the partition 110-1 is also a height of 108h. The width 110w of the partition 110-1 is smaller than the width 108w of the storage driver 108-1. The height 108h may be about 2.6 inches to about 4.1 inches. width 108w can be about 1 inch. The width 110w may be about 0.2 to 2 mm.

Please refer to Figure 3 to provide storage drives with smaller specifications (such as storage drives 308-1, 308), including the storage drives 108-1, 108-2, 108-3, etc., compared with those in Figure 1. -2, 308-3, etc.) the front view of the server 300. The server 300 includes a control panel 306 including one or more buttons and one or more ports 304. The one or more ports 304 may be universal serial bus (USB) ports, serial ports, parallel ports, etc. The storage driver 308-1 has a height 308h and a width 308w. The height 308h of the storage driver 308-1 is smaller than the height 108h of the storage driver 108-1 in FIG. In some embodiments, the height 308h is approximately half of the height 108h. Since the height 308h can be less than half of the height 108h in Figure 1, the server 300 in Figure 3 includes two rows of storage drivers (for example, storage drivers 308-1 and 308-2 are on the first row, and the storage drivers 308 -11 and 308-12 are on the second column). The server 300 and the server 100 are approximately the same size, so compared to the server 100, more storage drivers 308-X can be included in the server 300. The width 308w of the storage driver 308-1 is less than or equal to the width 108w of the storage driver 108-1. The width 308w may be about 9.5 mm or may be about 15 mm, and the height 308h may be about 33.75 mm.

405b。 The server 300 includes partitions 310-1, 310-2, 310-3, and so on. Each partition (for example, partition 310-1) has the same height as the height 308h. Each partition (for example, partition 310-1) has a width 310w. The width 310w of each partition 310-X is smaller than the width 110w of each partition 110-X. The width 310w of the partitions 310-1, 310-2, 310-3... may be about 3 mm to about 8 mm. Since the height 308h is smaller than the height 108h, two or more storage drivers 308-X can be stacked on top of each other. No. 4 The figure shows a part of the server 300 of FIG. 3, which has a first row 405a of storage drivers and a second row 405b of storage drivers stacked on the first row 405a. The server 300 is shown as including three frame panels (for example, a top frame panel 420, a middle frame panel 422, and a bottom frame panel 424), and the storage driver frame 401 is partially defined as the first part of the storage driver 308-X. One row 405a and the second row 405b.

Figure 5A shows a known frame panel and partition design 500. The frame panel and partition design 500 includes a frame panel 524 and at least one partition, such as a partition 510-1 or a partition 510-2. The frame panel 524 includes a recessed area 511, and the recessed area 511 includes a plurality of panel openings 513. In some embodiments, the panel opening 513 is a rivet opening provided to fix the partition (for example, the partition 510-1) to the frame panel 524. Each partition (for example, partition 510-1 and 510-2) includes one or more protrusions or tabs, which can be fixed to respective panel openings 513. For example, the partition 510-1 and the partition 510-2 include a plurality of top adjustment pieces 512a and a plurality of bottom adjustment pieces 512b. The bottom adjustment piece 512b can be aligned in the concave area 511 and substantially fits at least one panel opening 513. The bottom adjustment sheet 512b may be fixed to the panel frame 524. The top adjusting piece 512a can be fixed to a panel frame (not shown) on the panel frame 524. In this way, the two panel frames can be arranged parallel to each other and separated by partitions (see for example: the bottom frame panel 424 and the middle frame panel 422 in Figure 4).

The recessed areas 511 of the frame panel 524 are periodically spaced so that the partitions 510-1 and 510-2 having a width of 510w can be separated by an interval of 508w. The space 508w is provided to accommodate the storage drive (for example, the width 108w in Figure 2 is similar to the space 508w). When assembling the frame panel and partition design 500 in Figure 5A, the space between adjacent partitions The interval 508w may be a limiting factor. For a common storage driver, the interval 508w may be large enough to accommodate the rivet gun that secures the partition to the frame panel. But when considering a storage driver with a smaller size, the interval 508w may not be wide enough to accommodate the rivet gun (see for example: Figure 5C).

Figure 5B shows the first combination position for assembling the frame panel and partition design 500 in Figure 5A. Figure 5C shows the second combination position for assembling the frame panel and partition design 500 in Figure 5A. In FIG. 5B, the rivet gun 530 is positioned under the frame panel 524, and then the partition (eg, partition 510-1) is fixed to the frame panel 524 using rivets. In Figure 5C, because of the narrow spacing between the partitions 510-1 and 510-2 for accommodating smaller sizes, the rivet gun 530 cannot enter the frame panel 524 to separate the partitions 510-1 and 510- 2Fixed to the frame panel 524. When the server includes only one row of storage drivers (for example, the server 100 in FIG. 2), the first combination position in FIG. 5B is acceptable for assembling a storage driver frame that carries a row of storage drivers. On the other hand, when the server includes two rows of storage drivers (for example, the server 300 in FIG. 4), the second combination position shown in FIG. 5C is a limiting factor for rapid assembly.

Figure 5D depicts a configuration 501, which can be applied when two or more rows (for example, the top row 505b and the bottom row 505a) of storage drivers are accommodated by the storage frame. By using the first combination position in FIG. 5B, the partitions (for example, partitions 510-11 and 510-12) in the bottom row 505a can be fixed to the bottom frame panel 524 and the middle frame panel 522. When the partitions 510-1 and 510-2 are fixed to the middle frame panel 522, the second combined position in Figure 5C can be present. The rivet gun 530 cannot approach the middle frame panel 522 from a direction below the middle frame panel 522 or from a direction above the middle frame panel 522. Therefore, storage with multiple rows The driver frame may not be able to use common frame panels, partitions, and assembly methods. The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a frame panel, a partition design, and an assembling method to make the construction of a storage driver frame including multiple rows feasible, thereby overcoming the situation shown in FIG. 5D.

Please refer to FIG. 6A. Further, the illustrated partition 610 includes a pair of two top adjustment pieces 612 a on each side of the U-shaped metal piece 638. In some embodiments, the number of top tabs 612a on the left side of the U-shaped metal sheet 638 may be different from the number of top tabs 612a on the right side of the U-shaped metal sheet 638.

In some embodiments, the U-shaped metal sheet 638 further includes one or more bottom adjusting pieces 612b, wherein each of the one or more bottom adjusting pieces 612b has a hole 646 for fixing the partition 610 to the frame panel ( Picture not shown). The U-shaped metal sheet 638 may further include one or more bottom protrusions 614 for fixing the partition 610 to the frame panel. In some embodiments, the one or more bottom protrusions 614 do not include holes, unlike the one or more bottom adjustment tabs 612b. In some embodiments, one or more bottom adjustment tabs 612b are provided on the first side of the partition 610 (for example, on the left side of the U-shape), and one or more bottom protrusions 614 are provided on the partition 610 On the second side (for example: on the right side of the U-shape). In some embodiments Among them, part of the one or more bottom protrusions 614 is also provided on the first side of the partition 610.

610。 In some embodiments, the U-shaped metal sheet 638 includes one or more openings or through holes 640 and 648. The shape of the through holes 640 and 648 may include a circular shape, a hexagonal shape, a pentagonal shape, a polygonal shape, or a combination thereof. The through holes 640 and 648 promote air flow through the partition 610.

644a、644b。 In some embodiments, the U-shaped metal sheet 638 includes one or more bumpers (for example, a top baffle 644a and a bottom baffle 644b) on the first side and the second side of the partition 610. The baffles 644a and 644b may be padding or may be metal. The baffles 644a and 644b help to slide the storage driver (not shown) against the partition 610 during installation or removal of the storage driver. In some embodiments, the storage driver is disposed between the top baffle 644a and the bottom baffle 644b in Figure 6A, wherein the bottom baffle 644b partially bears the weight of the storage driver. In some embodiments, neither the top baffle 644a or the bottom baffle 644b partially bears the weight of the storage driver, and the storage driver only touches or touches the baffles 644a and 644b.

In some embodiments, the U-shaped metal sheet 638 may include one or more side contours 642. One or more side profiles 642 may be provided on the first side of the partition 610, the second side of the partition 610, or the first and second sides of the partition 610. In some embodiments, one or more side profiles 642 are hollow to support air flow so that air can flow from the side profile on the first side of the partition 610 to the side profile on the second side of the partition 610, and vice versa.

711a、711b。 Please refer to FIG. 7A. According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a frame panel 700 is provided. The frame panel 700 is substantially flat and has a rectangular aspect ratio. In some embodiments, the frame panel 700 may include end features 750. The frame panel 700 can be a bottom frame panel, a middle frame panel, or a top frame panel, such as the frame panels 424, 422, or 420 respectively connected to the server 300 as defined in Figure 4. FIG. 7B shows a partial enlarged view of the partition plate 700. The frame panel 700 may be formed as a sheet-like material or substrate, for example, a metal sheet. The frame panel 700 may include a certain number of first recessed areas (for example, the first row of first recessed areas 711a and the second row of first recessed areas 711b) on a flat surface. The first concave regions 711a and 711b may respectively include perforations or holes 713a and 713b for fixing the partition (for example, for fixing the partition 610 in FIG. 6A). Although each of the first concave regions 711a, 711b shown in FIGS. 7A and 7B has a hole 713a, 713b, more than one hole may be provided in each of the first concave regions 711a, 711b. In this example, sufficient recesses 711a, 711b are provided for at most 24 partitions. In some embodiments, in order to change the width of the frame carrying the storage device, the partition is not attached to all the recessed areas 711a, 711b.

The frame panel 700 further includes one or more stoppers (for example, stoppers 715 in the top row and stoppers 719 in the bottom row). In some embodiments, the one or more stoppers 715, 719 are cuts of the frame panel 700 such that the regions 715a, 719a are defined as being adjacent to the one or more stoppers 715,719. Areas 715a, 719a refer to the areas below the plane surface of the frame panel 700. When the protrusions of the partition (for example, the protrusion 614 of the partition 610) are blocked by one or more stoppers 715, 719, the protrusions are lie in In this area. When fixed, the protruding pieces of the partition are inserted under the areas 715a, 719a of the frame panel 700. In Figures 7A and 7B, the top row of stoppers 715 are provided on the top edge of the frame panel 700, and the bottom row of stoppers 719 are provided on the top edge of the frame panel 700 and the bottom of the frame panel 700 Between the margins. In some embodiments, the number of the rows of stoppers is the same as the number of the protrusions 614 of the partition 610 (as shown in FIG. 6B).

The frame panel 700 may further include a series of second concave regions 717. Each second recessed area 717 provides a space for maneuvering of the protruding member of the partition, so that the protruding member can be stuffed under the area 719a. In some embodiments, the area 719a is overhanged on the second concave area 717. In FIG. 7B, the stoppers 719 of the second row are positioned beside the second recessed area 717. The stopper 715 in the top row is located beside the edge of the frame panel 700, and therefore has enough adjacent space to mobilize the partition. Therefore, no recessed area is positioned next to the stopper 715 in the top row. Each bottom row stopper 719 and the respective top row stopper 715 in FIG. 7B are configured to limit the movement of the partition in a single direction.

Please refer to FIG. 8A. According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a partial view of the partial assembly 800 of the two partitions 810-1 and 810-2 on the bottom frame panel 824 is provided. The bottom frame panel 824 is similar or the same as the frame panel 700 in FIGS. 7A and 7B. The partitions 810-1 and 810-2 are similar or identical to the partitions 610 in FIGS. 6A and 6B, and include a bottom adjustment piece 812b and a top adjustment piece 812a. The bottom frame panel 824 includes a series of first recessed areas 811a and 811b, a series of holes 813a and 813b, a series of stoppers 819, and a series of second recessed areas 817. The bottom frame panel 824 also includes an area 819a, and the protrusions of the partition (for example, the partition 810-2) can be inserted under this area.

When the partitions 810-1 and 810-2 are fixed to the bottom frame panel 824, the bottom adjustment pieces 812b of the partitions 810-1 and 810-2 are aligned with the holes 813b, so that a rivet gun can be used to insert the rivets to fix the partitions 810-1 and 810-2 are fixed to the bottom frame panel 824. FIG. 8B illustrates the combined position of the bottom frame panel 824, showing the rivet gun 830 used to enter the first recessed area 811b to fix the partition 810-2 to the bottom frame panel 824. The separation or separation 808w between the partitions 810-1 and 810-2 is approximately the same as the separation 508w in Figure 5B. Referring again to FIG. 8A, the bottom adjustment piece 812b may have a different aspect ratio from the top adjustment piece 812a. In some embodiments, the bottom adjustment piece 812b is longer than the top adjustment piece 812a, so that the hole provided on the bottom adjustment piece 812b is farther away from the partition 810-2. Positioning the hole of the bottom adjustment piece 812b far away from the partition 810-2 provides additional space for accommodating the rivet gun (for example, the rivet gun 830). In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, the partition 810-2 is fixed on the first side through the holes 813a and 813b, and the protrusion of the partition 810-2 is inserted below the area 819a to be positioned at the second side. Side fixed.

Compare Figures 5A and 5B with Figures 8A and 8B. The partition 510-2 in Figures 5A and 5B is too close to the partition 510-1, blocking the partitions 510-2 and 510-1 Between the channels into the rivet holes. In contrast, as shown in Figures 8A and 8B, the partitions 810-1 and 810-2 are installed one at a time, so that the rivet gun does not need to be positioned between the partitions 810-1 and 810-2. However, if a similar process is used on the partitions 510-1 and 510-2, using a rivet gun to install the partitions 510-1 and 510-2 at a time, only one side of the partitions 510-1 and 510-2 will be fixed. . On the contrary, the partition 810-2 has protruding pieces inserted under the bottom frame panel 824, so that both sides of the partition 810-2 are fixed to the bottom frame panel 824. Increasing the number of contact points between the partition and the frame panel improves the structural integrity of the component structure. The frame used to carry the storage drive is usually subjected to shock and vibration verification tests. Therefore, the improved structural integrity of the disclosed components is necessary to improve the durability of the frame structure.

Please refer to FIG. 9, according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a flow chart of a manufacturing process 900 of assembling the spacer on the frame panel is provided. The process 900 can be used to manufacture a frame for carrying storage drives. The different steps in the process 900 are described in the following paragraphs with reference to FIGS. 10A to 10M. In some embodiments, the process 900 can be automated in a factory. The process 900 includes an initial condition, where the placeholder variable i is equal to 1. The variable i is only used to indicate the number of rows (for example, the top row 505b and the bottom row 505a in Figure 5D).

Step 901 involves placing the i-th layer of partitions on the current frame panel. For example, the bottom frame panel may be the current frame panel, and the partition of the i-th layer may be the partition to be placed in the bottom row of the frame. Please refer to FIG. 10A. According to some embodiments, the first snapshot shows that the partition 810-2 is placed on the bottom frame panel 824. In Figure 10A, the partition 810-2 and the bottom frame panel 824 of Figure 8A are used as an example here. The partition 810-2 is placed on the bottom frame panel 824, so that the bottom adjustment piece 812b of the partition 810-2 is located in the two first concave regions 811a and 811b. One of a series of bottom protrusions 814 of the partition 810-2 is positioned in one of the second concave regions 817. As shown in FIG. 10A, the holes 846 of the bottom adjustment piece 812b of the partition 810-2 are not aligned with the holes 813a, 813b of the bottom frame panel 824. Figure 10B shows the 10A A perspective view of the enlarged part 1001 of the first snapshot of the figure. In some embodiments, the thickness of the bottom adjustment sheet 812b is less than or equal to the thickness of the vertical walls in the first concave regions 811a, 811b.

Step 902 involves sliding the partition of the i-th layer to the current stop position of the frame panel. Please refer to FIG. 10C. According to some embodiments, the second snapshot shows the partition 810-2 at the stopping position of the bottom frame panel 824. In the stop position, the hole 846 of the bottom adjustment piece 812b of the partition 810-2 is aligned with the hole 813b of the bottom frame panel 824. In Figure 10C, the bottom protrusion 814 of the partition 810-2 (see Figure 10A) is inserted under the top surface of the bottom frame panel 824 and positioned in the areas 815a, 819a. The stoppers 815 and 819 hinder the bottom protrusion 814 from continuing to slide in the first direction, and thus hinder the sliding movement of the partition 810-2 in the first direction at the stop position. FIG. 10D shows the enlarged portion 1003 of FIG. 10C. Compared to FIG. 10B, the bottom protrusion 814 is no longer visible in the stop position. In some embodiments, the partition 810-2 is flush with at least one edge of the bottom frame panel 824.

Step 903 involves fixing the partition of the i-th layer to the current frame panel. Please refer to FIG. 10E and FIG. 10F. The rivet gun 1030 can be used to fix the partition 810-2 to the bottom frame panel 824. The rivet gun 1030 is shown as applying the rivet to the bottom tab 812b. All bottom adjustment pieces 812b of the partition 810-2 are fixed by rivets using a rivet gun 1030.

Step 904 involves repeating steps 901 to 903 to fix all i-th layer partitions to the current frame panel. For example, after the partition 810-2 is fixed to the bottom frame panel 824, Figure 10G and Figure 10H show a partition 810-3 with Step 901 is related and similar to the process of being placed on the bottom frame panel 824 in the manner described above. Figure 10G and Figure 10H show the partition-panel combination 1080, which includes two partitions 810-1 and 810-2 installed, and a partition 810-3 being installed. The enlarged part 1005 shows that once the partition 810-2 is installed, the next step is to install the partition 810-3. FIG. 10I shows the partition-panel combination 1082. The partition-panel combination 1082 is the final result of installing all the partitions of the bottom frame panel 824 using the above-mentioned process.

Step 905 involves fixing the new frame panel to the installed i-th layer of partition. Please refer to Figure 10J, a new frame panel (middle frame panel 822) is placed on top of the partitions (for example: partitions 810-1 to 810-3 of the bottom frame panel 824). FIG. 10J shows a combination position 1084 in which the rivet gun 1030 is used to insert rivets to fix the partition board to the middle frame panel 822. The middle frame panel 822 is fixed to the partition at a position corresponding to at least some of the top adjusting pieces 812a (see, for example: Fig. 10A).

908。 Step 906 involves deciding whether the partition is to be installed on the new frame panel. If the partition is to be installed on the new frame panel, then step 907 is executed. But if not, optionally, step 908 may be performed.

Step 907 involves adding i and setting the new frame panel as the current frame panel. Step 907 is only a narrative step, so that the recursion of steps 901 to 906 can be used again. Please refer to the examples in Figures 10A to 10J. In Figure 10J, the combined position 1084 shows a completed row of frames. FIG. 10K shows the combination position 1086, where the partitions 910-1 and 910-2 have been installed according to steps 901 to 903, and the partition 910-3 is in the process of being installed on the middle frame panel 822. Drawing 10L The enlarged part 1007 of Figure 10K shows that the partition 910-3 is installed after the partition 910-2 is installed.

After all partitions (for example, partitions 910-1, 910-2, and 910-3) are installed on the middle frame panel 822, the top frame panel 820 is fixed to the middle frame panel 822 in step 905 Separator (see figure 10M). Fixing the top frame panel 820 to the middle frame panel 822 completes a frame 1088 including two columns. If two columns are required, then optionally, the top cover 920 can be placed on the top frame panel 820. The top cover 920 is only decorative and may be omitted in some embodiments.

Process 900 allows the frame for carrying computer components to be assembled one layer or one row at a time. The process 900 allows each layer to be fixed in a single direction, one partition at a time. The direction of assembling the frame is determined according to the position of the bottom adjustment piece of the partition. Therefore, for each layer, the next partition is installed next to the bottom adjustment piece of the previous partition until all partitions on that layer are installed. The storage device used in this article is only an example, and the assembled frame can be used to carry other types of computer components.
