Abstract

A switch cover for controlling an electronic device. The switch cover comprises a cover body, a backlight module, a sensing unit and a control unit. The cover body comprises a light transmissive stone. The backlight module is disposed on an inner surface of the cover body, and the backlight module provides a backlight line to illuminate the transparent stone. The sensing unit is disposed on one side of the backlight module and different from the cover body, and the sensing unit senses an operation and outputs a trigger signal corresponding to the operation. The control unit is electrically connected to the sensing unit, the backlight module and the electronic device, and the control unit controls the electronic device and the backlight module according to the trigger signal. When the electronic device is turned off, the control unit controls the backlight module to output the backlight line.

Description

Switch cover

The present invention relates to a switch cover, in particular to a light-transmissive switch cover.

Referring to FIG. 1 , a general switch cover 10 can be used to control the corresponding electronic device E to be opened or closed, and the switch cover 10 includes a hollow cover frame 101 and a protrusion button 102 disposed at the center of the cover frame 101. The working state of the electronic device E is controlled by a simple mechanism design.

In view of this, some embodiments of the present invention provide a switch cover.

The switch cover of an embodiment of the present invention is for controlling an electronic device. The switch cover comprises a cover body, a backlight module, a sensing unit and a control unit. The cover body comprises a light transmissive stone. The backlight module is disposed on an inner surface of the cover body, and the backlight module provides a backlight line to illuminate the transparent stone. The sensing unit is disposed on one side of the backlight module and different from the cover body, and the sensing unit senses an operation and outputs a trigger signal corresponding to the operation. The control unit is electrically connected to the sensing unit, the backlight module and the electronic device, and the control unit controls the electronic device and the backlight module according to the trigger signal. When the electronic device is turned off, the control unit controls the backlight module to output the backlight line.

In the following, the specific embodiments and the accompanying drawings are explained in detail, and it is easier to understand the purpose, technical content, characteristics and effects achieved by the present invention.

The various embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. In the description of the specification, a number of specific details are provided for the reader to have a more complete understanding of the present invention; however, the present invention may be implemented without omitting some or all of the specific details. The same or similar elements in the drawings will be denoted by the same or similar symbols. Referring to FIG. 1 , the cover frame 101 of the conventional switch cover 10 is made of a plastic or acrylic material with a monotonous appearance. In a high-quality building, it is obviously abrupt with the stone attached to the wall. The material of the switch cover plate of some embodiments of the present invention is improved through the structure, which brings more light transmission and display should be used in combination with the use situation, and the main purpose is to use the transparent natural stone for thinning treatment. As the cover body, the backlight module is provided with a backlight to display the texture of the natural jade, and the stone design according to the attached wall is used to increase the overall texture of the indoor space, and also has the purpose of displaying jade. The working principle is as follows.

Referring to FIG. 2 to FIG. 4 together, the switch cover of one embodiment of the present invention is shown. The switch cover 10 is electrically connected to an electronic device E to control the working state of the electronic device E. For example, the electronic device E can be, but not limited to, an electric appliance such as an electric lamp or an electric fan. The switch cover 10 includes a cover body 1, a backlight module 2, a sensing unit 3, and a control unit 4. The cover body 1 comprises a light transmissive stone. The backlight module 2 is disposed on an inner surface 11 of the cover body 1 , and the backlight module 2 provides a backlight line L to illuminate the transparent stone of the cover body 1 . The sensing unit 3 is disposed on the backlight module 2 on a side different from the cover body 1 , and the sensing unit 3 senses an operation U and outputs a trigger signal T corresponding to the operation U. The control unit 4 is electrically connected to the sensing unit 3, the backlight module 2, and the electronic device E, and the control unit 4 controls the electronic device E and the backlight module 2 according to the trigger signal T, wherein when the electronic device E is turned off, the control unit 4 controls the backlight. The module 2 outputs a backlight line L having a first light intensity to illuminate the transparent stone of the cover body 1; when the electronic device E is turned on, the control unit 4 can selectively control the backlight of the backlight module 2 to output a weak light intensity. In order to realize the transparent switch cover 10 and the effect of displaying jade texture, the cover body 1 comprises a transparent stone, wherein the transparent stone has a natural texture, as shown in FIG. 2 . In an embodiment, the light transmittance of the cover body 1 is greater than or equal to 30%, and the natural texture of the jade can be clearly displayed, but not limited thereto. It can be seen from the experimental results of some embodiments of the present invention that the light transmittance of the stone cover body 1 is positively correlated with the thickness. In some embodiments, the thickness of the cover body is greater than or equal to 2 mm and less than or equal to 4 mm, but Not limited to this. Incidentally, in some embodiments, the light transmittance can be lowered according to the designer's requirements without being limited to the aforementioned required standards, but can still be visually illuminated by the backlight module 2 to observe the jade texture.

Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 , in the embodiment, the backlight module 2 is disposed on the inner surface 11 of the cover body 1 , and the backlight module 2 provides a backlight line L to illuminate the transparent stone of the cover body 1 . To show the natural texture of the stone. For example, the backlight module 2 can be a light emitting diode (LED) or an organic light emitting diode (OLED), but is not limited thereto.

In the present embodiment, the slot 6 extends from the outer surface 12 of the cover body 1 to the inner surface 11. The sensing unit 3 can be, but not limited to, a card sensing switch 31 disposed opposite the slot 6 for detecting the proximity of the sensing card C through the slot 6 and outputting the trigger signal T. The card sensing switch 31 can be, but is not limited to, a spring-sensing type, a photoelectric type, an IC (integrated circuit) card type or a card-frequency type card taking power switch. For example, the principle of the photoelectric switch is The light beam is emitted inside the switch. When the light beam is blocked (plugged in), the internal electronic system supplies power to the electronic device E by recognizing the signal. The principle of the IC card switch is to install an IC card identification device inside the switch. By contacting the wafer on the proximity card C, it is sensed whether or not the proximity card C is inserted. If the identification is correct, the power supply to the electronic device E is started; the card frequency switch can be divided into a low frequency card and a high frequency card, and the principle is through the switch interior. The sensor recognizes the frequency of the proximity card C to determine whether the proximity card C is correct. If the identification is correct, the power supply to the electronic device E is started. In short, when the proximity card C is inserted into the slot 6, the card sensor switch 31 is triggered to output a trigger signal T corresponding thereto.

It should be noted that the position of the slot 6 is not limited to the above embodiment. Referring to FIG. 5, in the embodiment, the switch cover 10 further includes a box 5. The box body 5 is disposed on the inner surface 11 of the cover body 1. The backlight module 2, the sensing unit 3 and the control unit 4 are disposed in the box body 5, and a slot is formed at the interface between the box body 5 and the cover body 1. 6. The user can insert a proximity card to trigger the card sensor switch 31 and output a trigger signal corresponding thereto.

According to the above configuration, the card sensing switch 31 senses the operation U from the user inserting the proximity card C, and outputs a trigger signal T corresponding to the operation U, thereby controlling the operating state of the external electronic device E.

In some embodiments, control unit 4 can be, but is not limited to, a microcontroller (MCU). In an embodiment, the control unit 4 and the sensing unit 3 can be integrated into a single integrated circuit to save circuit layout space and help to realize a thinned switch cover.

In summary, some embodiments of the present invention provide a switch cover plate, which is mainly used for thinning treatment of a transparent natural stone as a cover body, and integrates a sensing and control unit/circuit in the switch cover plate, and is matched with a backlight module. The group provides backlighting to showcase the texture of natural jade, which brings richer interior design and usage scenarios, increases the overall texture of the interior architecture, and serves as a showcase for jade.

Claims (7)

A switch cover for controlling an electronic device, the switch cover comprising:  a cover body comprising a light transmissive stone;  a backlight module is disposed on an inner surface of the cover body for providing a backlight line to illuminate the transparent stone;  a sensing unit disposed on one side of the backlight module and different from the cover body for sensing an operation and outputting a trigger signal corresponding to the operation;  a control unit electrically connected to the sensing unit, the backlight module, and the electronic device, configured to control the electronic device and the backlight module according to the trigger signal, wherein the control unit controls the backlight when the electronic device is turned off The module outputs the backlight.   The switch cover of claim 1, wherein the sensing unit comprises a card sensor switch for detecting a proximity card and outputting the trigger signal. The switch cover of claim 1, wherein the cover body has a slot, and the sensing unit includes a card sensing switch corresponding to the slot for detecting a proximity card through the slot And output the trigger signal. The switch cover of claim 1, wherein the cover body has a thickness greater than or equal to 2 mm and less than or equal to 4 mm. The switch cover of claim 1, wherein the cover body has a light transmittance greater than or equal to 30%. The switch cover of claim 1, wherein the cover body comprises at least one of black sea jade, white jade and Vietnamese white jade. The switch cover plate as claimed in claim 1 further comprises:  A casing is disposed on the inner surface of the cover body, wherein the backlight module, the sensing unit and the control unit are disposed in the casing.
