An energy saving faucet for connecting with a water source is provided. The energy saving faucet includes a faucet body, a hydraulic generation module and a water flow control assembly. The hydraulic generation module and the water flow control assembly are disposed in a water flow passage of the faucet body where the water runs through. Electricity is generated when the water from the water source runs through the hydraulic generation module, and the water flow control assembly calculates the generated electricity to determine a water consumption correspondingly, so as to conduct or block the water from the water source entering the water flow passage according to the water consumption.
