Length Measuring Devices Characterised By Use Of Acoustic Means
(AREA)
Abstract
This invention relates to a tennis ball hitting position determining device. It includes four sound wave detecting devices, a displaying portion, and a central processing portion. These four sound wave detecting devices are disposed on the periphery of the tennis court and connected with the central processing portion. Based on the relative coordinates and time differences of sound wave signals among these four sound wave detecting devices, the central processing portion can calculate the actual coordinate of the hitting point of the tennis ball. Then, it can be converted into a 3D tennis ball hitting image so that the position information of such hitting point and the 3D tennis ball hitting image can be shown on the displaying portion. Therefore, this invention can calculate the hitting position automatically as well as it can achieve the dynamic simulation about ball hitting.
