  由上述之說明不難發現本創作之優點,在於該刀片2於該切削段21所設之刀口213,  透過形成該排屑槽214之二斜邊215之設置,使皮紙5經過刀口213切削後,不論皮屑51於排屑時較偏向該刀口213哪一邊,皆會接觸其中之一斜邊215,使皮屑51能隨著斜邊215的導引而往後端排屑,相較於習知裝潢用修皮刀結構而言,能避免排屑受到阻礙的情況發生,使皮紙5的切削維持順暢。
  此外,若該切屑段21因碰撞而損傷,或刀口213因頻繁使用而失去鋒利,此時可透過刀片2的更換,意即拆下鎖固件3,然後將原刀片2拆下並換上新的刀片2,再將該鎖固件3鎖回,即可具有如新的修皮功效。
