Form No. A0101 Page 3 of 19 M408700 ___ Correction Replacement Page, June 13, 100 [0005] Referring to the preferred embodiment described below, it will be helpful to understand other features and advantages of the current creation. [Embodiment]
[0006] With respect to Figures 1 and 2A, the spectacles 10 include a substantially elastic spectacle frame 12 that allows the spectacle frame structure to undergo a degree of elastic deformation without damage. The substantial elastic eyeglass frame 12 of one embodiment generally includes a pair of lens support portions 14 joined by a nose bridge 18. The substantially elastic eye frame 12 is integrally formed of a suitable mold material during the mold forming process. Each of the lens support portions 14 has an outer and inner portion 20, 22 which are separated from each other and extend downward from the upper portion 24 of the respective lens support portion 14. A head support device, such as a pair of eyeglass arms 16, is coupled to the opposite ends of the frame 12 and is rotatable, and may be formed of similar mold materials and control similar elastic properties. A rigid lens fixture, in accordance with this embodiment, includes two lens holders 26 that are permanently joined to the substantially elastic frame 12 during the mold forming process of the frame 12 to form a rigid lens holder. Each of the rigid lens holders 26 is made of a substantially elastic material or the like in a process independent of the molding process of the substantial elastic frame 12. For the sake of discussion, only one lens holder will be discussed below. The retainer 26 has a continuous outer edge 28. The upper portion of the outer edge 28 is in direct contact with the spectacle frame 12, and more specifically, a U-shaped surface formed by the internal portion of the lens supporting portion 14, the external portion 20, 22 and the upper portion 24 is accommodated and Permanent joint. The rigid lens holder 26 also includes a continuous inner periphery 30 defining a lens opening 32 (see Figure 2A) for loading the lens 34. The rigid lens holder 26 in turn encases the lens 34. Form No. A0101 Page 4 of 19 M408700 ·· 06 On June 13th, 100th, the replacement page is required to realize the movable engagement of the lens 34 and the rigid lens holder, along the inner circumference of the rigid lens holder 26 A shallow groove 36 is formed in a configuration such that the outer periphery of the lens 34 engages the shallow groove 36 in a "point-in" motion when the lens 34 is pressed into the lens opening 36 from the side of the rigid lens holder 26.
When the lens 34 is pressed by the other side of the lens holder 26, the lens 34 can be easily removed from the lens holder 26 by a "point-in" action. In addition, movable engagement of the lens with the rigid lens holder can be achieved using other mechanisms that rely on elastic displacement or friction of the lens and lens holder, particularly when the rigid lens holder has a different configuration, for example, forming a Only engages the non-enclosed configuration of the periphery of the lens portion. It should be noted that after the lens 26 is permanently engaged with the substantially elastic frame 12, the engagement of the lens with the rigid holder is completed to prevent the lens 34 from being affected by the process conditions of the frame formation process.
圖二Β所示為另一種結構性的安排,其中硬質鏡片固 定器26的外圍部份嵌入實質彈性眼鏡架12,同時實質彈 性眼鏡架1 2的鑄模材料部份在實質彈性眼鏡架1 2鑄模形 , 成過程時引入硬質鏡片固定器26的一至多個凹口 46(或 -In particular, with respect to Figure 2A, a molding apparatus 40 forms a notch (not numbered) in accordance with the configuration of the substantially elastic spectacle frame 12. The molding apparatus 40 additionally includes a mold injection passage 42 connected to the recess to allow the molding material to be injected into the recess in an appropriate state during the molding process. The rigid lens holders 26 are placed in first and second predetermined positions relative to the molding apparatus 40, respectively. A portion of the mold assembly overlaps a portion of the outer periphery of the lens holder 26 such that portions of the outer periphery of the lens holder 26 are respectively embedded in the mold material of the substantially elastic frame 12. When the molding material of the spectacle frame 12 is formed, the lens holder 26 forms a permanent engagement with the substantially elastic spectacle frame 12. FIG. 2C and FIG. 2D illustrate another structural arrangement in which the lens holder 26 is permanently joined to the substantial elastic frame 12 in such a manner that the mold material portion of the substantial elastic frame 12 flows into the rigid lens. The glasses 10a will focus on the structural differences between the 10a glasses and the glasses 10 of FIG. The substantially elastic eyeglass frame 12 of 10a is similar to the eyeglasses 10 of Fig. 1, and also includes a pair of lens support portions 14 interconnected with the nose bridge 18, and is provided with a rotating eyeglass arm 16. Each of the rigid lens holders 26 is similar to the eyeglasses 10 of Figure 1, including a continuous outer edge and inner periphery 28, 30 (see Figure 4B). It should be noted that the configuration of the rigid lens holder 26 is substantially uniform, but slightly larger than the contour of the opening formed by the continuous inner peripheral edge 48 of the lens support portion 14. Therefore, the solid lens holder 26 is embedded in the substantially elastic spectacle frame 12 along the entire portion of the periphery thereof when the spectacle frame 12 is formed using a mold forming process similar to that of the above-described Fig. 1 forming method. As part of the glasses holder, with the form number A0101, page 6 / 19 pages, M408700, June 13, 100, the replacement page has a connecting portion 50 for connecting a pair of rigid lens holders 26, connected Some of the similar or different materials can be used. The attachment portion 50 is also embedded in the eye frame 12, for example, completely covered with the material forming the nose bridge 18 of the spectacle frame 12 (see Figure 4A). The rigid lens holder 26 additionally includes a plurality of projections, such as bolts 52 that are substantially parallel to each other and that project outwardly toward the rigid lens holder 26. The bolts 52 are frictionally coupled to the openings 54 formed in the periphery of the lens 34, respectively, such that the lens 34 is in the lens holder and the substantial elastic frame 12

A0101In Figures 5A and 5B, the spectacles according to another embodiment of the present invention generally include similar elements and features as shown in the corresponding reference numerals of Figure 1 . The 10B glasses focus on the structural differences between 10B and Figure 1 glasses 10. The spectacles 10B include a substantially elastic spectacle frame 12 which is formed in a mold forming process similar to that of the spectacles 10. The spectacle frame 10B includes an elongated base forming lens supporting portion 14. Preferably, the elongated base has a curvature that conforms to the user's face and that the pair of eyeglass arms 16 respectively engage the opposite ends of the elongated base and are rotatable. A rigid lens holder 26 forming a lens holder is permanently joined to the lens support portion 14 of the frame 12 for separately securing a lens 34. A top portion of the rigid single lens holder 26 is embedded in the bottom of the substantially elastic spectacle frame 12 during the mold forming process, similar to Fig. 2A of the aforementioned reference. Therefore, after the molding material of the spectacle frame 12 is molded, the permanent engagement of the rigid single lens holder 26 with the lens supporting portion 14 of the substantial elastic spectacle frame 12 is achieved. Various structural arrangements as shown in Fig. 2A to Fig. 2D, form number A0101, page 7/19, M408700, June 13, 100, correction replacement page, lens for rigid single lens holder 26 and glasses 10B Support part 14 permanent arrangements. The rigid single lens holder 26 of this embodiment includes one or more projections 52 that are configured in an elongated shape for conforming to the aesthetics of the elongated base of the spectacle frame 12. The projection 52 forms a frictional engagement with one or more openings formed by the single lens 34 along its top edge, similar to the movable engagement of the lens 34 with the perimeter 30 of the lens holder 26 of the lens of the 10a lens, as shown in Figure 4B. Show. It is especially preferred that the single lens 34 is provided with a nose recess 56 in the center of its bottom. A nose piece 58 is placed over the nose bridge recess 56 and is engaged with the single lens in a conventional manner. The spectacles 10c of Fig. 6 are yet another embodiment of the present invention, including Fig. 1 with similar elements and features as indicated by the corresponding reference numerals. The glasses l〇c focus on the structural differences between the glasses 10c and the glasses 10 of FIG. The substantially elastic frame 12 of the eyeglasses 10c is provided at its opposite ends with a pair of eyeglass arms that engage and rotate. The substantial elastic frame 12 is provided with a pair of lens support portions 14 connected by a nose bridge 18 for supporting and permanently engaging a pair of rigid lens holders 26. Each of the rigid lens holders 26 can take a variety of shapes, such as those used for the glasses 10, 10a and 10B shown in Figures 1 - 5B. The rigid lens holder 26 is provided with a curved surface having a two-curved shape. The first curved shape 60 conforms to the curved shape of the substantially elastic frame 12 when it is not deformed by an external force, and the second curved shape coincides with the curved shape of a lens 34. The curvature of the second curved shape 62 is smaller and positioned forward of the first curved shape 60, thereby placing the lens 34, which is movably engaged with the rigid lens holder 26, in front of the substantially elastic frame 12. The configuration of the substantially elastic spectacle frame 12 of this embodiment can take any form No. A0101

A0101Figure 7 shows an example of a lens holder 26a that can be used with the substantial elastic eyeglass frame 12 of Figure 6 glasses 10c. The rigid lens holder 26A, similar to the lens 10 lens holder 26 of Fig. 1, has a continuous outer edge 28 and a continuous inner periphery 30. A shallow groove is provided along the continuous inner periphery 30 of the rigid lens holder 26A for movably engaging the peripheral edge of the lens 34, as shown in FIG. The lens 34 in turn covers the opening formed by the continuous inner periphery 30 of the rigid lens holder 26A. The lens 34 of this embodiment is relatively flat, as is the case with conventional lenses, while the rigid lens holder 12 is configured to have a relatively curved shape to accommodate the user's head. Accordingly, the rigid lens holder 26A is provided with a curved surface having a two curved shape, the first curved shape being located at the outer edge 28 of the rigid lens holder 26A, and the second curved shape being located at the inner periphery 30 of the rigid lens holder 206A. The curvature of the second curved shape 62 is smaller than the first curved shape 60, and the inner periphery 30 projects forwardly from the outer edge 28, thereby placing the relatively flat lens 34 in front of the relatively curved spectacle frame 12. The foregoing is intended to be illustrative only, and modifications of the embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, currently available eyeglasses, the permanent engagement of the rigid lens holder with the substantial elastic frame, and the particular configuration of the lens and the rigid lens holder for movable engagement, can be configured differently by the described embodiments. Other structural arrangements and other modifications of the described embodiments may be combined in different ways, thereby applying the described embodiments to obtain glasses of different appearances. Modifications that can be made by a person skilled in the art to detect this public creation are also within the scope of the attached patent application No. A0101, page 9 of 19, M408700, June 13, pp. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS [0007] FIG. 1 is a perspective view specifically showing an embodiment of the present invention; [0008] FIG. 2A is a portion of a substantially elastic spectacle frame during formation of a spectacle frame and a rigid lens holder mold.
