Abstract

A power connector includes an insulative housing, a contact and a switch retained on the insulative housing. The insulative housing in-cludes a front surface, and a first receiving cavity and a second receiv-ing cavity recessed from the front surface. The contact has a contacting portion extending into the first receiving cavity. The switch includes a push button received in the second receiving cavity and a spring tab en-gaging with the push button. The push button has an actuating lever. The actuating level defines a through hole extending therethrough. Therefore, the spring tab can be prevented from moving sideward, and continuously connects with the push button, which can improve a con-trolling quality of the power connector.
